I still find myself coming into this thread each day in the vain hope some nice person has placed an actual real link to a prologue chapter. But then I realise that the minute it is released the forums would explode with new threads and speculation and I would know by looking at the first forum page anyway.

Dunno if this is the best place to put this, but Amazon.co.uk has moved Toll the Hounds back from June to August 2008 B) Let's just hope it's Amazon being Amazon again.

Probably not as Toll the Hounds is "close to being completed" Bantam probably won't get it until years end and as I said in the release date thread they will naturally take their sweet time in publishing it and thus we should expect it mid to late next year.

...There is something frustrating about waiting for the next installment in any good series. What if one dies before it is finished? Will I then become a ghost that haunts Steven Erikson for the rest of his life? I just hope that I will be able to read the next books over somebody's shoulder...imagine that - an eternity spent reading over other ppl's shoulders. B)

NOOOOOO!!!

Damnit Erikson, your record was almost flawless!!!

Of course family tragedy gives SE any excuse he wants for delaying the book.

Actually I blame Broodhorn/Longbrood from the future... He had the power to change this but instead he used his powers to get cheap booze and pirty women.

EDIT: Trem ... What the hell?! I'd never use my poo in anger B)

How did someone go about getting the prologue last year? What can be done to see the Toll the Hounds Prologue?
