Question:

Does being the only sane person in the world make you insane?

If a tree falls in the woods and a deaf person saw it, does it make a sound?

In an effort to increase the power of this thread (and NOT as a malicious tease. Really)...

I just began my second read-through of the first twenty chapters of Toll and I'm here to say it is absolutely brilliant. The writing is simply beautiful. The story flows along effortlessly and those moments where you're thinking 'enough of this, what's happening with so-and-so' are virtually nonexistent. His insight into human nature is truly astonishing, or rather, his brutal honesty in portraying it is. This book has a good chance of supplanting MoI as my favourite of the series, which I had not thought possible before now. Genius is not too strong a word :p

Aargh!! You tease...
You're just making me frustrated.
The... wait... is... too... long.

:p

considered their scholarly will.

"But how will we teach them to kill?"

No no no. Now Gem, this is your first test, so pay attention: What does a true apprentice of the Abyss demand in situations like these?

- Abyss, needs to perfect his 'Evile Emperor' voice.
