But Dailey blatantly displayed bad sportsmanship and fragrant assault by striking Koshcheck in the face with a hook after the fight was over, they had been separated and the ref was between them... he even taped his shoulder to get his attention i think...
I agree, but I still say that four men attacking one man on the ground is a far worse case of assault than what Dailey did here. Dailey should be suspended/banned. But so should Diaz, regardless of popularity.
Possibly, I don't agree with you completely, but you walk a fine line, every timer a fighter gets in a brawl or sometime of misconduct should they be gone for good?
If that is the case then Rampage Jackson would be gone, BJ Penn would be gone just to name a few good fighters, not to mention all the ones i mentioned above. Oh and so would Diego Sanchez for the push against Josh Koshcheck (mmmh guess he just brings it out of people lol)
Since The older Diaz isn't part of the UFC so Dana has no real power over him, he might not come back anyway, the younger one was involved but it was outside a UFC event, i think he needs to leave that one in that hand of what ever Athletic commission is making a ruling on it.
But your point does have merit and maybe it would be only fair... im just not exactly sure what all took place in the strikeforce ring so i don't what to think exactly

Im kind of glad Josh Koskcheck will get the next shot at GSP, it should make it a more of a standup war... while GSP might be a little bit better wrestler in MMA Koshcheck should be the first person in a while to defend the takedowns, stand and strike and even threaten his own take downs instead of just hoping to knock out GSP before it hits the mat like his last few opponents.
Iirc Kos couldn't really stop the takedowns the first time they fought.
Yeah he did, but I think Koshcheck was also the only person to win a round against GSP since he lost to Serra...he one the first round if i remember right... So now while both fighters have gotten better Koshcheck should have to tools to make it a much more competitive fight....
Will GSP be losing his belt to him... well i wouldn't bet on Josh, but it should be a very very entertaining fight... I am a big GSP fan and i really don't find his last fights boring at all... but other fans have and this should give them a good show, since he is not a pure striker, he might even be the 2nd best wrestler in the UFC... at least in the 170lb division.
