Return of the Crimson Guard Publication Date

-We're looking at a May publication for this, I'm afraid. The book is now designed and laid out, sig shets are done, and covers done . . . but we're just waiting for the proof amendments.
It'll be worth the wait!-
I just got this from PS, looks like May, which is fine with me personally. I'm really looking forward to this, I just started my re-read of the series, so maybe I'll be finishing BH when this comes out and then I can read it in the right order chronologically. Either way it's better than waiting for August.

Well that is majorly disappointing. I ordered and paid for that book in Sept with an expected delivery early 2008. May is not early at all, especially when they were saying hopefully March, probably April just a few weeks ago. 3 more months, what a drag.

I assume getting the book will be like TtH: amazon.uk? I'm not willing to pay the PS price, and I guess the UK will be the quickest way for me to get the trade edition.
@Hetan: you should have zapped cloud strife's a$$--oh wait, I guess you did.
One advantage of the time between books, btw, is that I find myself rereading the books. I also have been reading some great central and eastern European writers.

well said to hetan and malcalypse. I was actually wondering if anyone has heard anything about the PS release date though. I'm still considering whether to buy it or not. On another note other than the date the reason I'm still undecided is the two volume issue. What exactly does this entail? Is it the book just split in two? Or two versions of the book? Or something else entirely?
Thaks in advance.

I think there's only one version of the book. So the book would be split into two smaller hardbacks in the same slipcase, I'm guessing.
Seems a bit strange, but PSPublishing after all are used to printing novellas - it's possibly just too long for their printing process to accomodate into one single hardcover.

Things are happening quickly...
When will RotCG come out in Australia? It's probably same time as UK....

May is a bit disappointing but probably for the best. I think my exams are early May and almost nothing would stop me from devouring the book. Knowing my luck it will arrive within the two week exam period...

I can't believe that Hetan's been lambasted for trying her dambdest to get the prologue for us. Some peolpe can be really unappreciative and so up their own a£$e.
Cheers Hetan for your continuing endeavours to bring all of us advanced info and tidbits to whet our appetites.
I've just thought of a good character name for upcoming books.
Patience.

The worst part is the guy actually feels he's "OWED" the prologue early. I mean, really...how asinine can a person be?
If anything it's a tribute to Hetan and others that we EVEN GET TO READ IT EARLY.
Let's put things in perspective, jeez.

Cheers to Hetan and Mal
Your tone is really well-mannered for the occasion. Although I, too, have expressed impatience for the prologues, it was just, yunno, impatience. Putting things in terms of owing stuff is really absurd. Everything you do is greatly appreciated by all of us

Asinine AND assholeine.
I intend to be the first person to read the prologue. Apart from those who've already got it (Kallor, hetan?)

admirably dealt with Hetan/Mal, I thank you for your continued efforts towards sating our thirsts for all things malaz.
yeah, I think I'm going to have to be patient and wait, need to concentrate or I won't get a first this semester D:

What subject do you do? I'm hoping to maintain, and perhaps increase, my 75% threshold but I've been incredibly lax of late.
To be honest if I'm in exam mood I'd easily wait, it all depends whether I decide to care or not.

Way to be apologetic.
What exactly are "wingebags"? Are those bags that have wings?
Sucking up? I think you need to reevaluate your life brother. If all you do with your time is cry and whine about getting something in advance on an internet community....perhaps you should take up chess, or hiking...or staring at a wall watching paint dry.
It also appears you are a bigot as well as an idiot. My my, you seem to have a whole list of positive characteristics. A promising young mind such as yourself should have much higher aspirations than responding to us "queers" and "wingebags".
Have a nice day!
