Hood guided Hedge's release from the realm of death with instructions to reclaim Dunsparrow, to further Hood's agenda.
Crazy!

Baudin is Toc the Younger's father! It was mentioned once that he was a Talon who disappeared...and Baudin is still in the service of Hood...
The two Kenry'llah Demon Princes who became farmers...they've got to be the two that were summoned in MT to combat that FA that was released. The same kind of juxtaposition between their fierceness and the circumstances they find themselves in: in MT don't they stand above a deep hole and make observations about how unfortunate it is the FA fell down it?
I am so glad Karsa didn't become the CG's tool like Rhulad. Another theory: at some point he's going to get with Samar Dev and, uhm, 'split her in two'.

Well, he does need to get his horse back, after all. And those two demon princes being the same ones from MT isn't so much a 'crazy theory', as a 'fact'.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Baudin would be too young for that. And I read Hood's words as proving Toc the Elder lived - Baudin certainly does not. And Baudin Elder is dead too.
Was Toc the Elder a Talon?

*shrugs* Maybe I dreamed that. Yeah, his father would have had to be called Toc too. Forgot that part.
And yeah, about the demon princes, I know it was obvious and not a 'theory' as such, just haven't seen it stated by anyone yet so thought i would. Partly to clarify for myself.
Is Karsa/Samar Dev a 'fact' and not a 'crazy theory' too then? I'm sorry my theories aren't crazy enough.
The thing is I have to spend so much time thinking about what is happening and what has happened that it's too much to think about what will happen in a rational sort of way.
Maybe we could have a 'mediocre theories (that aren't really theories)' thread, just for me.

I felt pretty convinced that Redmask wasn't dead either. That it was someone else.
See...I think that Redmask is part K'Chain CheMalle. Like the Shake. That's why he wears a mask from the Matron's throat scales. Either that or the 2 K'Chain CheMalle eventually saw him without the mask and so he lost whatever deception the Matron's throat-scales would have held sway over them so they killed him.
But how could he speak with them though?

Oh...and I STILL think that Sinn uses the human equivalent of Omtose Phellack. All that ice-murder....how does that work? If it was Tellan, Telas, Thyr or something fire-aspected Ebron and Deadsmell would be able to identify her warren. As it stands, they don't know what it is. something they've never come across before.
Pity they never asked Beak since he knows ALL the warrens. But maybe there's still time. He died in Letheras...his ghost must be around somewhere.

Starvald Demelain would be my first guess - or maybe Kurald Thyrllan/Liosan.

Crazy theory - we saw Whiskeyjack in RG.
The end when the old man with mason's hands came to visit Seren and help move the stone. This wasn't Bugg as many suspect but Whiskeyjack.

We saw Beak go to Hood's realm, to his brother. Probably won't be back.

Bugg was a builder, and the old man talked about the Errant in the way Mael would have. It was pretty clearly him. Whiskeyjack wouldn't be described in that manner anyway, he was always "grey-bearded soldier."

Sure, Bugg is the obvious choice, which I put the idea in the crazy theory post.

All the god of the holds are still in letheras. LIke when we saw knuckles in that azath with Kilamandaros. And them two drunks from the original who got married and were apparently on a tapestry 600 years old atleast. All the gods like Knuckles Blade etc are still gods that are hiding in Letheras
Also wasnt Feners appearance really funny. We all thought either heboric had him or he was in stormies leg. Lol an he was hiding in a temple.

The sea where Knuckles and Kilmandaros are could be anywhere in the world.

Anyone else think that the Jaghut sitting on the ice throne/frozen dead people/whatever was Hood's body?

That was fairly explicit - that's obviously Hedge's conclusion as they leave.
As well, at least we finally know for sure that Hood is Jaghut, case closed.

Which means Hood has a dead wife and dead kids. Think his request to Paran is related to them?

It is mentioned somewhere that Letheras is "lousy with gods" but that they're all trying to avoid notice... Could mean just the Errant and Mael, but seems to imply there's plenty more of them around, so I don't think this is particularly crazy

I like this one! Although Jaghut aren't said to be very family-orientated.

Yeah, I thought it was clear too.

Good catch with the Beak going through Hood's gate thing Dolo. Thanks.
If Sinn was usung SD, SOMEone would have recognised it and moreover, I sincerely doubt that as powerful as she may be, she could wield the chaos-aspected SD. A human using the Eleint warren.... I still think it's something to do with OP.
