Brilliant ep. Holy wow!

I love the fact that while the show cherfully uses tropes that a long-time sf fan can see coming for miles, albeit in totally fun ways, they also manage to pull the odd surprise out of their hats every so often.

While the Peter and Issac plots were totally predictable, they went down SO well. The Peter/Sylar fight was brief, but yknow, it sort of works that way and the outcome made sense. And Yay Mohinder for not being utterly useless!
Sylar is just a bada$$, and the way his art was different from Issac's was just brilliant.
Nathan's acting could use some work, but he's doing a decent job of showing how conflicted he is. Slashing the pic with the glass from Peter's head was a nice touch.
Lindeman just made a BIG mistake messing with Nikkica like that. HUGE.
The Bennet/Ted/Matt scenes were some of the best in the ep. Bennet's one-way thoughts at Matt and his helpless reactions to them were good fun. And hey, Ted can do more than fry things!

I am a fanatic. Hence my sig. This is without doubt the best tv show I've ever spent time with. It's got everything. No argument can ever make me think otherwise.

@Abyss: I agree, it was such a great episode. I was jumping up and down you-know-when...I was like arrgh! Do it already!

Mohinder didn't kill Syler when he had the chance...surely the gun was still lying around somewhere? He could have used that. And why did Peter have his back to Syler when he let fly with the glass? I enjoyed the Bennet, Parkman and Sprague team's escape from the Company cells, and Linderman's plans made for a nice plot twist.

And now I have to wait again . I think I was right to delay watching these until just before the new ones came out (I went through them a week ago)...I don't think I could have stood having to wait for longer.

Mohinder probably wants Sylar available for future experiments. He does not know that Peter may also be similar enough to serve his purposes. Actually, I think Peter is Sylar 2.0 - like all the abilities and minus the homicidal insanity. All the stuff about Linderman, Mrs. Petrelli and the hinted at others makes me think that either Mohinder's father has been working for a very long time (three generations) or he himself was part of something greater.

It looked like Peter turned real quick once he saw Sylar start to shoot the glass out. It's probably a reflex thing.

I think Amphi' totally had it right that Peter was trying to get out of the way of all the glass.

Moe' had already tried (last ep) to kill Sylar once and failed - actually, so have a lot of people, ie: Parkman shot him three times back at season start - and couldn't be sure it would work. I realize this seems too analytical, but he DID try to shoot Sylar in the face and ended up pinned to the ceiling bleeding. Can't blame him for getting out of there.

The Clair-Peter-glass thing was so utterly obvious it bordered on silly, but as with many things in this show, it's the obvious done well. From the promos, it looked like they are doing a dark-possible-future thing next week, and again, this is comics 101, but i'm excited about it.

Neat that Peter and Sylar can both do the paint-the-future thing now.

Anyone else notice the WATCHMEN tribute in Linderman's Evil Master Plan?

Dude, Mohinder talked to Nathan about Peter being the most important person to test of all of them. Abyss is right, Mohinder did his best - he almost got himself and Peter killed by going after Sylar. I don't blame him for getting out of there. Besides he wanted to get Peter home to his family. And he did destroy the list, so that Sylar couldn't get his hands on it (or teeth )

It's not the list that's important, it's the genetic marker. Mohinder knows which one it is - that wouldn't be too hard to memorize, so he should be able to generate a new list himself.

also given the early season talk of mr petrelli and linderman it seems obvious pete and nathans da was a superhero too. tbh i think season 2 will be about the linderman's group instead.

Sylar did have freaky voice before, and he did not eat Eden. Could just be a thing he does with his telekinesis and vocal cords.

I don't think there is a tracking device. That's just Bennet's way of tricking Matt and Ted into helping him. The only real 'device' is in Mohinder's head.Which doesn't bode well for Moe if Bennet gets to him.

I generally have faith in this show. They don't take the 'let's just do crazy sh!t bcs we can and never resolve it' approach that LOST tends to.

Two things:
- There is a tracking system - the radioactive isotope that was injected in their blood stream. Ofcourse that doesn't mean Bennet can't lie, but the trick to lying is to always have an ounce of truth in the lie.

- We don't know what happened to Eden - it could be that Sylar had that voice before he met her, but we don't know that. Also Eden's power didn't work on Sylar. We don't know why. It could be Sylar have some power that is negating hers. However, I've always thought he got her power. Didn't he try to 'persuade' Isaac to tell him his secret in the last episode? He was trying something for sure.
