yes, this show rocks and is currently the overall best on tv right now

You have yet to see The Wire. I would nominate Lost as well and although I haven't seen any episodes (waiting until I finish The Wire), Battlestar Galactica. Heroes is not top-tier TV.

Heroes is enjoyable, but it's still a rookie. Friday Night Lights is also a rookie and a better show, but who knows if it'll get picked up.

House? (this season is hit and miss though) The Shield? Deadwood? Way better than those you listed...

I stopped watching House just before Christmas because of that stupid cop, but the episodes since they got rid of him have been extremely entertaining =)

This ep of Heroes was extremely satisfying. Except for them showing so little of hot 21-y-o brunette Claire in miniskirt :)

I wonder if they're gonna hafta go back in the past to kill her :)

I'm really curious about that vision Peter kept having, you know, the one where he explodes. It can't be as simple as Isaac's visions of the future of their timeline, but I can't figure out just why I think that. Uhm.

Must have next episode. Graaaa.

Hayden Panitoomanyvowels is about three feet tall. The whole episode had her in these huge six inch thick shoes and they refused to zoom out on her beyond mid-thigh level so you wouldn't see the shoes. She's possibly the worst actor on the show, too.

Lost was interesting but went completely retarded in its second season. BSG was awesome but got traumatic brain injury in its third season.

House - pfft. Every other line is a set-up for a Hugh Laurie wisecrack. Boooooring.

The Shield - yet another show that started awesome, then climbed up its own asshole. After Acevedo went all rape-fantasist, I just couldn't be bothered.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Rubbish, that title belongs to either DL, Sprague, or Parkman.

EDIT: NO WAIT! The HAITIAN!

3ft is good for me, I'm vertically challenged too  also, I <3 mid-thigh.

This is such a good show I have to pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming. There is no show out there that is half as enjoyable. And I love many tv shows.

The last episode just rocks! Weeeee! :)

I feel sorry for you people that can't enjoy such a fete. I guess you're not into sci-fi.

I wouldn't go that far. Heroes is a lot of fun, but it's no masterpiece. I'm a Lost fan, too, and I find the writing on Lost to be more interesting and the characters much better developed.

Now, if they could combine the two shows (Heroes lost on an island...sweet), that would be cool. I think I'd rather just have Lost's characters developing special powers, rather than having the Heroes show up in a plane crash. Hmm...I wonder what Kate's power would be...

Maybe the power to grow mammaries!

She said ENJOYABLE, but I think she meant "kickass cool and satisfying". If so, she's totally right and deserves 2, no FOUR high-fives.

The show is called House. The character Gregory House is by far the most interesting of the bunch. The writing of House is fantastic and the wisecracks really are wise and do crack on people.

I was on the fence about the introduction of Sela Ward a while back, but the writers and actors handled that beautifully. I liked Tritter too. I also hope Omar Epps isn't leaving for good.

Yeah! :)

And I mean it, Heroes is the best tv show ever. Other shows can be great, on many levels, but the feeling I get from Heroes is so far beyond anything else I have experienced, it's scaryyyy! I am not even hesitating - and that is even more scary! I mean, I am usually the skeptical individual in the group...!
Let me just say that I love House md. That show is very enjoyable, but Heroes still beat it senseless. Greg House is one of the most interesting characters in tv history, but Heroes still is better than that show.

Just saw the lastest ep. WOW. I wasn't so enthused over last week as the rest of you, but this one was really really nifty. What a dark and interesting future!

Still loving the show. It's TV cotton candy, may lack depth at times, but no end of sugary goodness.

Dude. Brilliant Abyss, brilliant. I completely agree that even the predictable storylines usually have interesting twists. And the lack of depth is just fine for me. That's not why I'm watching. :)

I have to admit, that I never see any of these obvious plotlines, story-arcs, etc. I'm really thick when I watch TV, so most everything in this show is surprising and nifty to me.
