I would say that ST, as he has worshippers, IS a god, but otherwise I agree.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I don't think SE refers to entities like K'rul as ascendant by the time he writes BH, he seems to have become more strict in his definitions.
Not quite correct here, I think. You just have to look in the appendix of TBH were elder gods like K'rul, Mael etc. were still listed as ascendants. I don't think the distinction between gods (elder and younger) and ascendants (who were always there and who in fact ascended) is so easy. But this was discussed already in some other thredas.

Morgoth:
D'riss-QoD connection: Cotillion names QoD T'riss, imho that's why Tiam assigned that Warren to her.
Could it be that QoD has a link to Ruse/Elder Warren of Sea? What Mael said about that in the MT prologue sounded suspiciously like divination...
Dolorous Menhir:
Imho Treach has a separate Warren, not related to Fener - or maybe they both have aspects of the Warren of War (not that such a thing is ever mentioned).
Tennes - Burn, definitely (also maybe D'riss?)
Omtose Phellack - Gothos, maybe. He certainly is potent enough.
Imho, Telas and D'riss could fall under the influence of D'rek as well (with D'riss being "contested")

i actually made that link due to a quote i think i read on a recent reread. i think someone (a mage) stated leoman had escaped into the warren of driss and we know he escaped with the QOD so i made the connection.
ON another note my grammer and spelling has been brought into account recently.i apologise for my spelling as i type to fast and suffer from mild dyslexia. not making excuses just thought id tell ppl as its affecting my reputation

Could be a GotM'ism, but that book seems to identify Fener's warren as Tennes. Presumably Trake inherited same.

yeh its a GOTMism id say as brood is sort of the destriant of burn (or atleast a high priest ranking) and his warren is burns. also the characteristics of tennes is associated to burn.

It's the QoD warren and QoD=T'riss - I don't think D'riss is mentioned.

I seem to recall that in MoI, someone (Krul ?) talks about Treach's nascent realm/warren, so it'd be distinct from Fener's.

Actually, same quote in GotM mentioned that the Tennes witch (forgetting name - starts with a D, she helped Baruk against Vorcan...) can call on several Gods' via her warren, and Fener was just one of them.
So not necessarily a GotM'ism. No reason Gods can't share a warren, and Burn IS snoozing, after all. It's not like she needs to use the Tennes bathroom every morning or something.
- Abyss, figures cleaning the bathroom after Fener used it just sucked.

Abyss:
Gods sharing Warrens would actually make sense, considering what the three dragons told Cotillion.
The Tennes witch was Derudan, if I remember correctly.

Just finished a reread of NOk and Kiska is told by Agayla that Triss (pre ascension to QOD used the warren Thyr. Also in the same book Tay uses his THyr warren

Tays uses Thyr in NoK?
How do you reconcile that with his use of High Telas in MoI? I suppose Light (Thyr) and Fire (Telas) are closely related, but it seemed clear to me that Tays was a mage who had achieved total mastery of a single warren (with a sideline in Aral Gamelon for demonic summoning hobby), and that warren was Telas.
Telas did make a first appearance in MoI though, was NoK written before it was?

im not sure and it is likely one of those inconsistencies but he uses thyr to quest. I believe NOk was written before MOI (or atleast the idea was) but it is an incosistency. During the whole of NOK Telas isnt mentioned but Thyr is the only warren mentioned with regards to Tay. However this contradicts with the GOTM book which was written before NOK as Tay is a master mage but Tattersail her high Thyr is unreproachable even by Tayshrenn.
Very confusing

Well, it's not like he'd be the only mage we've seen with access to more than one warren. I suppose it's possible that he is a High mage of Telas, and through it has some power over Thyr as well, since they are closely related.

Just thought of something.
Scandabari shattered Kurald Emuladh. I think it's mention that he also killed the Edur royal family somewhere.
So obviously he killed the dragon that was aspected to emuladh. Just wondering whether one of the royal family was a dragon?

your not missing much really. Just bits about Dassem mostly.
Jimmy- Just because he killed the Edur royal family doesnt mean he killed the dragon for KE. In fact he never as one of the dragons in the shadow realm that Cot talks to is the dragon for KE. And he never shattered it i beleive. He wounded it when he killed Sorrit in KE. Icarium i think did the rest.

There are two dragons aspected to every warren, so he could have killed the other one - that is, if it wasn't Scabby himself.

Actually, we don't know exactly how many dragons as aspected to which warrens. Plus certain warrens are linked, a la Meanas/Rashan, Thyr, Mokra....
