Happy B-day!

Go forth and be young!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Happy Birthday Centz... Many happy returns.
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Toby is 23 today! They grow up so fast, pretty soon he won't be able to fit through those tight second storey windows ... :)

Happy Birthday Toby! At your advanced age those chimneys must be getting to be a bit of a squeeze...

Happy birthday Toby! I'm sure Sir Thursday is looking forward to your drunken texts.

Gracias muchachos! I didn't vomit once all weekend, too! I was in bed til half 5 on Saturday (bar a brief and aborted excursion to the sofa) though, so I guess that's nearly the same.

this sounds so much like my Saturday (it was a belated birthday celebration, some 7-odds behind Toby down the globe), i's not even funny....except I also didn't get home till about 6:30 AM. And my tiny room doesn't have a sofa.

EDIT: also, it is Salt Man-Z's and Lord of Tragedy's birthday. Congratz, guys!
