Do you think they'll drop him after this?

The Flash had long been a favourite character of mine so I definitely want to see it.

Since this story is Flashpoint (where Barry really fucks up the timeline) they could EASILY replace him as Barry actor wise at the end of this and juts call it multiverse shenanigans, OR they could "lose Barry entirely in the speed force" as the comics did post-CRISIS and make the new Flash Wally West going forward instead. But I can't see him continuing after this.

Easy fix is just recast and move on. No one who matters will care.

Just looked at Zack Snyder's Justice League on prime as I've not seen it yet. It says it's 8 hours long??

That must be the All Slo-Mo version.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

It’s 4. Can be watched like 4 episodes of tv, which is how we watched it.

And the blame game continues. No wonder Gunn wanted to wipe the slate clean. Don't condone how Levi has gone about this but it seems the Rock is trying to throw his weight around?

Yeah, this movie continues to look exceptional. Ezra Miller shenanigans aside.

EDIT: I've also heard they are hiding CRISIS-level cameos from the multiverse (like archived shots of Reeves Superman, Linda Carter's WW, Adam West's Batman, Brandon Routh's Superman, TV Flash, ect.) that Barry sees when he's fucking up the Speed force time stream.

The 3-4 early reviews i've seen so far have been more or less consistent - 'great first hour, second hour is a mess. Ezra fine as Flash, Keaton Batman great.' .

I've never let a messy 2nd hour hamper my enjoyment of a film.

Also the Cinemacon audience seemed to pretty universally enjoy it.

EDIT: GOOGLE's said reviews...Jeff Snieder? Really Abyss? The guy is a joke of a critic who likes his high horse over at Collider. His fave superhero movies are all the over-the-top Mark Millar ones...I feel safe in the other 12 reviews who loved it all. Oh and not to be outdone by the people who liked it, he's ripping on them for daring to like it:

"Just scanned the initial reactions. Embarrassing. I'm embarrassed for my profession. Not even a whiff of criticism. A bunch of easy lays (<----charming, you fucking classless asshole). I tell ya. There are only a handful of critical voices you can trust these days. It's sad."

Like the very notion that other critics may have genuinely liked it is baffling to this prick. This is what's wrong with his "profession"...elitist white dudes who think that they are some great literary criticism scholar...no fucko, you just didn't like the second half of a movie, this ain't Oxford and everyone sin't some shill because they got more enjoyment out of it.

Sorry, I went off, but I really hate Jeff Sneider's asinine takes. He's such a pretentious douchebag.

EDIT 2: Oh and Scott Mendelson doesn't like it....hahah that's another vote in its' favour to me...he's a shit critic.

I heard it stinks, and that's from an unimpeachable source.

Jon Lovitz FTW.

I wonder where he is now? I'm afraid to look him up and find out he's joined some of his SNL alum and gone right wing....

the last stab of the old DCEU:

Hey look, let's remake THOR 2 with Aquaman.

With a heavy BLACK PANTHER vibe, just for good measure. Manta could not be manifesting Killmonger any harder if he had ritual tatts on his chest and little black cat ears on his helmet.

And wtf is happening w the fuzzy hair drifting in the water effect????

Also... 'the black trident'... seriously? For Black Manta. ...SERIOUSLY DC REALLY THAT WAS YOUR GREAT STORY IDEA?????

I do like what they're suggesting for an Orm related plot tho.

The first AQAUMAN was fun fluff, i enjoyed it, this has the potential to be more of the same. I'm withhold judgment despite my judginess.

So James Gunn is now on record as having said that NOTHING is new DCU Canon until the CREATURE COMMANDOS show drops...this includes PEACEMAKER S1 which is now non-Canon, and that PEACEMAKER S2 will apparently actually address the reboot of reality...

This is also the first I've heard of BLUE BEETLE not being part of the new DCU...but after it's pretty dismal bow at the box office I can see why they've changed tune. And considering that for MONTHS both the studio side and Gal Gadot all swore that her version of Wonder Woman was staying part of the new DCU....but that's since been changed and we are getting a whole new Justice League with new actors joining the SUPERMAN: LEGACY casting of New Clark/Superman (David Cornswet), Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathan Fillion (Green Lantern [Guy Gardner version]), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), and Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho)...
