Not only that but Krypto being the bestest boy and draggin a wounded Superman back to Smallville by the cape.

So help me god if anything happens to that dog, I would not be averse to Clark going all John Wick on them.

fuck...plug...veins...

EDIT:

Things that go hard:

1. Lois interviewing him with unexpected hardball questions that cause him to react and say Silver Age Superman things. Amazing.
2. Krypto fighting Angela Spica (Engineer) in the fortress of solitude. GUD BOY!
3. The ramping up of the music cues.
4. Superman saying "Hey buddy, eyes up here" and then shooting up into the sky. The flying in this film so far looks DOPE.
5. David Cornswet and Rachel Brosnahan being given a chance to just ACT and not all splodey splodey.
6. Average people helping him up...I teared up, not going lie.
7. What appears to be Ultraman or perhaps Bizarro?
8. Hoult is doing a great Lex from what I can see.
9. Ma and Pa Kent are just average people, who look like Kansas farmers...and not stunt casted. SOLID.
9. The World Needs Superman. Nuff said.

This movie is 100% coming out right when we sort of need it as a planet. A realignment to doing good and being good.

Now everyone knows I'm an unapologetic fan of Snyder's MAN OF STEEL....but I would be lying if I didn't say this looks like the Superman I grew up on, and I think I'm really ready to return to this incarnation of Superman. The one that was on my bedsheets with the rest of the Superfriends when I was a boy.

I like Man of Steel, but I think of it as a very good superhero movie about someone with powers similar to Superman.

This... is a Superman movie.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Pa Kent is played by Pruitt Taylor Vince, who's one of my favorite character actors. A unique and affecting presence in everything he's in. Rarely is he the lead, but there's a movie called Heavy he did with Liv Tyler in the mid-90s that is super slept on imo.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Based on how much they packed into the trailer, this movie has to be like 8 hours long...all those characters, jeeze.

Marvel and DC appear to be moving in a direction where instead of giving every new character their own introduction, they're just 'there', they've always been there, just roll w it. See Deadpool and Wolverine for examples. It's a surprising level of trust in the audience to 'get it' for companies that historically assumed people need Spidey or Bats' origin retold every single time.
