I'm not crying foul but i think comments like this are still worth discussing. what i find hard to buy is the excuse. no code because...they were both waiting ? that just seems weird. or else just a big mistake, but okaros doesn't seem worried, he's pretty casual about it all

I wasn’t around till day 2. Why Merrid didn’t just put something in without waiting for me to turn up I don’t know. I guess they figured what were the chances they would die on night 1? It happens. Fanderay didn’t code their link to Tennes till the 21st, ten days after we started playing, so it’s not like the vigs sorted themselves out quick sharp either

Osseric has not posted for almost 2 days now during which they almost got lynched and the only thing that saved him is the lack of people bothering to come on and check day end. Seems this might continue.

Ven comes on and makes a single post contributing nothing again.
Not even commenting on proceedings.

Gait is also just popping in and saying nothing at all.

Aranatha seems to have some IRL problems so not sure how much they will be contributing further.

Hanas continues glide by.

that's true...i didn't check the timestamp on the finder codes. for some reason I thought I had and they were coded way earlier than that (apparently not...). maybe that's cause fandy wasn't around as much then. I also wasn't really around until day 2 as well, so missed Merrid almost completely.

anyway...that satisfies my line of questioning for now...

All of which makes it hard to be certain of anything, and not for good reasons either. I did have one thing I wanted to follow up tomorrow morning on Aranatha (bedtime now), but other than that I’m fresh out of insights on those players.

Alright, let’s think about this. Let’s start with Gait. Now that the discussion isn’t revolving around them, they’ve completely disappeared. Their responses to Tennes’ accusations (polite, asking for time to respond) rub me the wrong way - if you were town, especially unrolled town as they would have to be, wouldn’t you be more pushy in your own defence? What do you have to lose, other than your roleless life?

In the pro column for Gait, they were early on Thyr's train (with the caeveat of Kalse's subsequent PI'ing them), and had that odd run-in with Kalse early on day 1.

Of course, Tennes' 'quick' vote on Gait after Kalse's death makes a lot more sense now. Tennes (and Fanderay) knew for a whole day that Kalse was scum before vigging him, time which they presumably spent trying to find Kalse's partners. So the Gait case was probably being built up for some time, rather than 'oh seeing Kalse's CF just spontaneously made me remember something.'

Posting (or even reading) from a phone sucks, I don't know how you all manage it. I've barely caught up. At the moment Kilava is bugging me but can't do a proper read on them - drive by and trying to be aggravating whilst not actually doing anything is what I'm getting there.
