Bank holiday, went out to enjoy the sun.

Might as well reveal I was the medic (with Merrid) now - PS has taken my powers away.

I healed Barghast the night the big killed Ruse.

So didn’t care to see if your vote was needed. Thanks

And another reveal.

Hard to confirm since your apparent partner is dead.

The killers decided enough is enough. Those cops had caused them too much pain. Darren waited outside Karen's house. He had known her since he was a little boy growing up on the estate. That counted for nothing. Tit for tat, she shot his friend so he'll end her.

Tennes is dead. He was Karen and an ex cop.

I guess that settles that.

Was telling the truth.

Didn’t care = forgot about the game while having a nice time in the sun. Still out now, just checking on the phone when I remembered.

Also, this is exactly why I suggested that the spent vigs reveal, to avoid this kind of thing. Though I guess if Tennes still had finds available in addition to the vigs, then I guess that’s why he wouldn’t.

Flavour reads as if the reveal caused y'all to lose your powers, which would explain why he took so long with it, and if that's the case he might have as well taken it to the grave knowing he'd be dead without healer's powers

Also his partner could have been cleared now if he but uttered his name

My record this game reads:

- Didn’t think Thyr was scum.
- Never paid much attention to Kalse.
- Thought Prazec, Ruse, and Tennes were scum.

Sooo basically I’m playing a blinder.

I was Tennes's partner. We hid codes to confirm each other:

That Ruse vote switch was pretty wild to read.

Also, gotta love Rikkter coming back from the dead.

BTW, I can't be around at the new rollover time, so I can't help with any sudden vote switching then.

Im not sure of any of the votes placed.

Tennes seemed to suddenly regain his Hard on for Gait. Is it simply a revelation that he is following on?...or is he looking to grab the thread by the horns early on and lead the herd somewhere?

Gait is doing the old OMGUS.

And to a degree I would say that Ruse is doing the same... he quickly adds to the OMGUS voting ... he was nearly lynched yesterday from a Tennes case.

Agreed on Gait and Ruse. Ruse just seems to be trying to dodge another lynch attempt by going after Tennes. I'm not really seeing the Tennes case in general though. Gait feels off to me.

If I have your permission can we put a pin in this?

Constant overt politeness like this is what contribute's to Gait's scummy laid back approach, he really doesn't want anyone to get angry with him does he?

This is one of the main things that makes me feel weird about Gait. Ever agreeable and all that. Never really going after people other than Tennes today. No one other than Tennes voted for them, but they seem like they're scrambling to find a way to not get lynched. Every time they talk, it seems like it's about Tennes. Something else strange is how they made mistakes about Tennes and the Ruse train.

Vote Gait

In the last bit before "Vote Gait", the first letter of each sentence spells out "TENNES".

First things first. I promised myself I will finish some work this weekend and I'll need to minimize distractions to accomplish that. Not gonna be around a whole lot until Monday afternoon. Did take some notes from end of D2 and then N2, however, so here we go.

In broad strokes:
* Currently my mind is on Prazec and Ruse so no surprise here.
* I didn't think Aranatha was scum before but their actions from this Night made me reconsider.
* Rikkter, Kilava, and Jalan had zero scrutiny so far. They're laying low, casting votes, and not being bothered by anyone... until now, when Jalan is turning against Rikkter. They definitely need more scrutiny. It shouldn't be too time-consuming since they didn't post a lot so at some point I'm gonna try take a look at them.
* Gamelon hasn't posted since checking in and hasn't been modkilled. I wonder if there's more to that than meets the eye.

Now, let's dive in. Ruse first because that's where I'll put my vote for the time being.

They have a handful of posts and most of them look incriminating and yet they managed to coast to D3 without much trouble. Enough has been said already about that D1 post where they tried to frame D1 as a Tennes/Aranatha choice. But here are their votes from both days:

It seems Okral is the only lynch for the day:

Remove vote

Vote Okral Lom

View PostRuse, on 15 May 2020 - 08:15 PM, said:

Vote Thyrllan

As the most likely lynch candidate at this stage. I note that I am completely fine with this lynch because it was rather interesting how D1 attention moved away from him.

These are L-3 and L-2 votes. Both when there was no other choice and timeout was looming. Without any reasoning other than 'I'm fine with this'. Ruse carefully boarded both lynch trains in secure positions and made sure to not make comments that would come back to them or rustle any feathers. Scummy af.

Then last Night Ruse finally decides to share some opinions. In a curious manner. These are their two posts:

View PostRuse, on 15 May 2020 - 09:35 PM, said:

View PostAranatha, on 15 May 2020 - 09:31 PM, said:

What's the likelihood that their scum friends voted for him? Not very high, so we should probably start looking closely at anyone that voted for someone else, or didn't vote. So much more to go on now than before.

I disagree with that take. In fact, it's very likely there are some scum on the train. For example, Prazec's vote is now rubbing me the wrong way because it screams "Look at me I hammered I'm not scum."

View PostRuse, on 15 May 2020 - 11:16 PM, said:

SL you could have been waiting for your partner to come reveal as finder & and therefore not voted for him.

This is only the most ham-handed reason for scum to wait where you did. There are many others.

So Ruse finds both Prazec scummy for hammering and Sheltatha for waiting with hammer? You can't have it both ways, honey. Oh, and sprinkling some fake reveal speculation on top of that doesn't help either.

Looks hella scummy to me so for now I'm gonna:

Vote Ruse.

There first letters of the first four sentences spell out "FIND".

Ok, good. So

Hanas, Gait, Osseric, Aranatha, Venesara, Kilava

2 scum in those six.

Hey guys, I'm so sorry that I missed the deadline. I've already explained to PS what happened and said I'm sorry. Unfortunately sometimes real life distracts you in a way that's not fun. :hope:
I'll try not to miss anymore deadlines, but if I'm gonna be honest I don't have the same energy for the game right now. I really do want to keep playing, but I can't promise how enthusiastic I'll be.

I don’t have a code, by the by. Merrid talked about putting in codes but was waiting for me to turn up to organise it - then by the time I did he was dead. So that’s my bad.

Oh yeah, I took these notes on Kalse right after Tennes and I found out they were scum. i forgot to post them in the thread but just remembered them:
Notes on Kalse as I reread: (I'll list the important stuff at the bottom so feel free to skip)
Okay, Kalse started out just joking around. They threw a joke vote on Gait, but not much else. They noted that people were defensive in response to Kalse's joke vote.
After that, they disappeared for a page.
Eventually, they showed back up to talk about how symp cases were stupid. They posted what I believe is one of the first three votes on Okral. They then called out Ruse for posting on you. They mentioned that Thyrllan was on their scum radar for being so average along with a little post count chart.

On day two they started out by going after Venesara and complaining about low-posters. Okaros agreed with them about Venesara. You commented on one of Kalse's posts, saying that it seemed like a post a coaster would make, when they'd been very active. Thyrllan mentioned being suspicious that there was no heat on Kalse. Barghast mentioned the same thing as you (Kalse playing very cleanly). Kalse responded by pressuring Barghast. They mentioned preferring a Hanas lynch over a Thyrllan lynch. Prazec made an interesting post saying that they read both Thyrllan and Kalse as scum. Eventually, Kalse switched to Thyrllan. They ended up being around the middle/end of the train.

So far in day three, they mentioned there were killers on the lynch train, but the first four voters were probably clear. They went after Aranatha, Prazec, and Okaros. They were speculating that there was a connection between Prazec and Okaros. Sheltatha responded very positively to Kalse talking about Aranatha. Interestingly, Kalse responded by going after Sheltatha followed by a little mindmeld with Aranatha.

Summary:
They went after Barghast, Venesara, Aranatha, and Prazec, so I'm a bit more inclined to think of them as town. Them going after Sheltatha with Aranatha felt like an attempt to pocket Aranatha by using Aranatha's dislike of Sheltatha.

Also, in case it wasn't clear, here's a quick rundown of what Tennes and I had:
-Communication channel for us to talk in
-Two finds and two vigs to use in whatever order we wanted
-If we claimed, all town would become RIs

The whole "investigation into conduct" thing wasn't us losing powers due to shooting wrong, it was saying we'd used all of our abilities.

So a reveal triggered a clause that makes all other roles null and void...

Gotcha.

PS specifically said all TOWN roles. There's the possibility of the killers having a role.
