Well Mr Pittsburgh, how confident are you today? Next to KC or Tennessee, Baltimore is probably your biggest threat, and they're a division rival that hates you. Lamar's gonna need to have a good day for them, though...

I see us getting that first L. 'Spurg and Edgar Allan Poe's demonlings have quite a history, and it gets spicy when they lace them up across from each other. Steelers aren't as buttoned up as a team like the Patriots and have a frustrating history of giving up a big play or having a key penalty. I predict one of those moments in this game

Quoth Ben Roethlisberger: "Please, no more"

I'll be checking out how Tua does with his first start for the Miami Dolphins. Taking snaps across from Aaron Donald is one of those "trial by fire" / "welcome to the league rook" moments. See what kind of maturity Tua has in dealing with quite possibly one of the best DTs to ever play.

Well they're still right there with 8 to go, lookin like taking the lead...

I've been watching Miami back and forth with Pitt/Balt. Tua got hit and fumbled first possession. Since then has thrown his first TD pass and looks fairly good. Definitely facing some pressure. The other elements of his team have picked him up by scoring TDs, as well. Goff responsible for 4 turnovers.

And for all that negativity, Pittsburgh gets the win. Though they probably should've gotten called for pass interference on the final play; looked like Fitzpatrick got there early. In today's NFL I'm surprised they let that go.

Oi! @paran falcon.

My guy, what's the deal with your Tompa Brady and the swashbuckling Bradettes? This stretch of the cream puff schedule for the Bucs is killing me Smalls! Giants tonight and then soft competition until you guys have to play the Rams and then Chiefs.

The Bucs have a must win vs the Saints at home next week after tonight at Giants. And they'd BETTER NOT be looking ahead to the Saints and forget to beat up NY first, which they SHOULD. After that, they're at Carolina, which is not a gimme. There are plenty of games they should win, remaining, but also some they could lose if they drop focus at all, like they did vs Chicago.

Your Bucs make it to 6-2. Not bad not bad. Didn't watch the win over the Giants but I hear tell there were some possible shenanigans at the end. Or was it just another case of a lucky golden horseshoe that Tom terrific pulled out of his derriere?

It was a very sloppy and ugly win. The final 2 point conversion play maybe could've been called pass interference but then again the pass was off target and hit the defender (using the term VERY loosely for a Buc defensive back!) in the arm before it ever reached the receiver. They could've called it I suppose. And the Bucs would've allowed the retry to take the game to OT, then Daniel Jones maybe fumbles or throws another pick and the Bucs win, still ugly, on a field goal. In the rear view mirror, its just a W.

Didn't watch any of the game last night, but Green Bay seemed to have handled the 49ers pretty easily based on the score. I think the 49ers might be regressing after last Super Bowl. Injuries are a factor for sure, but in addition to that, I see some sliding backwards by key talent (*cough Jimmy G *cough). The coach is still top tier, so see if they can make adjustments or if it will be a lost season. I think it may be lost. Jimmy G and TE George Kittle are out for six weeks, I believe.

[EDIT] Oh yeah, forgot that the 49ers got smacked with Covid, so I'm sure that was a big factor the quality of game play.

The Steelers looking tepid against Dallas. Big Ben seemed to come to life after that pinball bounce around/knee tweak. Hopefully that woke him up.

Yo! @paran falcon! How you think your Bucs gonna do against the Feints? I think Drew Brees is holing out on the 17th green and walking to the 18th tee box of the back nine of his career. So I'm thinking a Bucs win. Whatcha think my dude?

It may come down to who's got more key players the healthiest. Brees, Michael Thomas and Kamara (?) are dinged, it appears. But the Bucs have an offensive lineman out plus possibly Chris Godwin. They will have Antonio Brown starting...

How the hell is Dallas holding your boys down like this?! With an AAF QB?!

That's the Steelers man. They do this and have these games, usually multiple a season. It's frustrating to root for them sometimes.

Bucs D-line really misses Vita Vea in the middle. If they dont get major pressure on the QB every play, or force a fumble, the secondary gets torched. They're very lucky to not be down 14.

Ouch. 28-0 and driving to score some more. Bucs need to make some adjustments at half . . .. he posts without any irony that that could be the biggest understatement of the NFL season midpoint.

Ha, Al Michaels just put a polish on this turd and said in 2013 Brady brought the Patriots back from a bigger half deficit to beat the Broncos in overtime.

Why'd Cleveland RB Chubb run out of bounds just before scoring a touchdown? Was there some strategy behind that decision? Was that a big middle finger to screw with gamblers and/or fantasy football nerds?
