That's a blast from the past! How are you BAD? Still working your way towards being the property mogul of Leeds?

Been great to see a few swing on in and say hello, but like a dandelion seed in the wind their presence ephemerally floats away. Need more staying power. Come back for a longer stay and break us out of this echo chamber, please!
Also, great to see some sporadic tag-ins from the peanut gallery on the US Politics thread, but that doesn't sustain me. Moar!

I am firmly peanut gallery. I look in from time to time but I haven’t posted for ages.
Even posting this feels weird!

With the restrictions, I'm guessing we could see more legends from the past stop in and say hello. Give us a shout! Let us know you are doing okay!

Not sure I can be called legendary, but I'm certainly from the past.
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. I saw your posts recently, great see you back, if only temporarily. You joined in 2003, that makes you a legend in my book, or a recovering sadomasochist who is having a moment of weakness.
That's flippn' a long time ago, and that beggers some questions from me; who is the original member and which active members have been here the longest?

I joined October 2004 but there was a bunch of people who had been round for a while even then. Not many still active today. I think Mezla was around the same time as me.
Gothos is one of the most long standing members but I don't think he counts as active though he does reappear every now and then.

Join dates from before about 2005-6 are out about a year. Mine says 2003 but I'm pretty sure joined in late 2001/early 2002. Just after DG was released in MMPB and before MoI came out (in Australia).
One of the board migrations did it AFAIK. Not that it matters overly.
There are a few still around who were before me. Gothos, Tiste Simeon, Morgoth, a few others. I thought Stone Monkey was on earlier but I may have Oldtimer's Disease.

Yeah? Huh, I thought you were before me because that photo of you in the wedding dress is one of the earliest things I remember, and you were already an identity here by then. Ah well.
Man, that's a while ago now innit?
We need these emojis (remember when they were called emoticons?):

Looks at own join date.
