Don't waste your time and watch Square Enix instead. The series is fixed so KD can come back (off injury) and bring the Warriors back to win. So he can leave the hero before going to the NY Knicks.

Watch Dogs Legion wins for me so far just by showing some actual gameplay (and also the fact that I live in London automatically makes me interested in this game - though I could have done without the exaggerated wideboy accents).

It feels like there’s more CG trailers than usual this E3.

Out of Microsoft, Bethesda, and Ubisoft, I definitely preferred the latter. MS namechecked a ton of things but showed stunningly little gameplay, while the new console announcement was marketing-speak 101. Bethesda’s ‘we love our gamers they’re always right we love your feedback please stop sending us death threats’ first half of the conference turned me off, but I guess they felt they had to do it. Things got better with Doom Eternal gameplay, but I was surprised there was no Wolfenstein Youngblood gameplay considering that’s coming out so soon. Interested to see how Ghostwire turns out, the Evil Within games were hidden gems.

Oh Dear, Avengers looks terrible. Like a throwback to old movie license games.

The character design looks boring and uninspired, their faces are ugly, the plot is retarded. The movie avengers are already watered down. Now they're watering down the movie version?

I can't remember when I was last this disappointed in a reveal.


Final Fantasy 7 looks amazing though. Surprised it's actually coming out 2020. Thought it was in development hell.

From the looks of the trailer it's a bootleg of the films. Those characters have nothing to do with the 616 versions. Nor the Ultimate universe really.

It's Crystal's own re-imagining of the Avenger.

Meaning the costumes are heavily influenced by MCU, but they couldn't get the rights to use the actors' likenesses, so the whole thing looks off.

The last Marvel I saw was Iron Man (2? I think), so that aspect doesn't bother me at all.

But it's basically described as yet another Anthem, and that effectively kills any enthusiasm I may have felt. At least until they show me that I can play the whole game never interacting with another player.

It's not about the likeness. It's about the quality of the design. None of the characters look "super". That's understandable when you're making a live action movie. When you're making a a high budget video game you can go nuts.

Iron man's suit is dull and barely had anything style to it. The hulk looks like he's been eating cheese burgers, Thor looks like a homeless person, Cap looks like Kevin James, etc.

It's just an utterly unambitious take on the Avengers. They had the chance to turn things up to 11.

Yeah, that Avengers game looks really bad (such bad acting), and that was Square Enix's big finish too.

Other then the brief Dying Light 2 reveal, the rest of their conference was a big throw away for me.

And nothing whatsoever about Babylon's Fall. I'm convinced that was either a fever dream or pure hype to get people talking.
