Despite this E3 being slimmer I still think this years second half looks strong.
Looking at the video games 2019 Wikipedia article this is a list of games I look forward to:
June
Cadence of Hyrule
Sinking City
Mario Maker 2
July
Wolfenstein: Young Blood
August:
Control
September
Gears of War 5 (If I owned a PC any longer)
Borderlands 3
Link's Awakening
October
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
COD: Modern Warfare
The Outer Worlds
November
Death Stranding
Pokémon: Sword and Steel
Jedi Fallen Order
DOOM: ETERNAL
And this is just the stuff I'm curious about. There's plenty of weaboo shit and strategy stuff as well.

By the way looking at the 2019 page it looks like Bloodstained is stealth launching in a few days. I don't hold much hope for that game.

Nothing stealth about it, it was splattered all over the GOG storefront until their summer sale started. There's a ton of footage out there- RPS did a 25 min video on an early level during Rezzed
I'm still waiting for a Biomutant of the release date. Also, wanna see Babylon's Fall gameplay, goddamit!
Wolvenstein (July)
Age of Wonders Planetfall; Remnant from the Ashes (august)
Greedfall, The Surge 2, Code Vein, AoE II DE (Sept)
Jedi Fallen Order and Doom eternal (Nov)
These are all games i'm interested in. Doesn't mean I'll buy everything Day 1, but they're all games i'll buy eventually.
(Control, Sinking City, Outer Worlds and Phoenix Point are all interesting, but... EGS)
Plenty of good stuff this year.

Very excited about Fire Emblem: Three Houses having watched the Treehouse gameplay presentation last night. I've been a big FE fan since the GBA days anyway, but it's looking really good.

I mean, MS did straight up ape Sony and emphasized SSD and much faster load times for Scarlett (awwww she sexy though). Sure, I guess it's the main thing both are trying to hang their hats on a year from when all will be revealed about both? Them's fightin' words! O.K. Corral, LA, next June, be there or be square. And by square, I mean the button on the Sony controller. *winkwinknudgenudge
BTW, 8K is just another marketing ploy to get you marks to buy a newer, more expensive television. Just doing my part to inform you. You can apply (or not) however you see fit from here.

In other observations. That whole Betheseda thing with the streamers comments was really cheesy and awkward. I didn't comment about it at the time, but it's been hanging with me I guess, cause I'm saying something about it now. *har-dee-har-har

Microsoft will also make more money off GamePass subs than it will from its next box,so it's all academic.

I think I generally agree with this list on the best showings at E3:

Eh.
Gods and Monsters was barely a teaser. I had no response to that reveal.
Control looks like a PS3 game in terms of game design.
And Hollow Knight looks like more Hollow Knight.
Now Cadence of Hyrule. That's where it's at.

OMG, just watched the E3 trailer for the remake of Final Fantasy VII. It's about the only game I'm really excited about at the moment, and it looks fucking amazing!! Plus, we now finally have a release date!!! March 3, 2020 can't come quickly enough!

My sig comes from a game in which I didn't heed Blend's advice. So maybe this time I should. ~ Khellendros
I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that self-vote suiciding will forever be referred to as "pulling a JPK" now, aren't I? ~ JPK

Just remember it's only part 1, roughly equal to disc 1 in the original release.

I think I read that it's being released in 2 parts, right? So it'll likely go into the second disc too won't it? Original FFVII was 3 discs wasn't? Dunno, it's been ages! Either way, I'm pumped! The game looks gorgeous!

They've recently stated they don't know the scope of the project themselves. It'll likely be at least 3 games.

It'll be interesting to see how they cut it up...
I imagine Disc 1 will get us through all the original Midgar stuff, at least until they leave the city. Disc 2 will likely start at Kalm and get us through to like the Ancient Temple or so? Then Disc 3 would be Ancient Temple to end game or something along those lines?

I don't remember enough about the game to guess.
I am looking forward to seeing the casino area though.
And the various monstrous forms of Genova.
