The Sardakk guy, though still in the lead, is down to just his home system as the Yin and Saar ganged up on him. The Yin guy controls half the board, and says "genuinely!" a lot while attempting to convince the rest that it's in their best interests to let him keep doing whatever he wants to do

Oh. So D'rek is playing?

Tapper, would you be willing to do a 2:2 trade instead of 1:1? Gnaw only has 2 to trade with me and I'd like to flip all my commodities if I can!

If he can’t, I’ll have trade you a tg for your other commodity come my turn.

Sardakk limps onto 8VP/10 despite only having his home system, and the 2VP PO that has just been revealed is own three unit upgrade techs - and he has two, so it's one of the few that he could actually fulfil

So Sardakk has 8VP and took Tech and Trade, so as long as they can hold on to their home system they will get to 10 at the end of the round.
The Yin guy is on 7 and will get to 9 by the end of the round, and has Leadership, so if he can also fulfil an SO he will win on initiative.
But: the Hacan guy, on 6 VP, took Imperial. He can fulfil a 2VP PO in the middle of the action phase, and also has two doable action-phase SOs (win combat with your flagship involved, and finish off a combat with your PDS).

IH.
I've consulted the IH4 Battle Simulator and if I attack with my Carrier and 2 fighters it says that I win the fight against your cruiser II 74% of the time. I thought that had to be wrong so I went to a die simulator and pumped out about 30 simulated battles with your ambush and 50% hit rate and I was very surprise to see that I did win at that rate.So I'm convinced that the odds really do favor me enough that I'm going to risk the fight unless you want to work something out where you leave on your own. I was thinking I would pay 1 TG for you to vacate. You wanted to move your cruiser to Malice anyway. Now you can still do that and gain the 1 trade good you would have pillage off me earlier in the round but didn't due to some crazy die shenanigans. Let me know your thoughts.

Aaaand the Sardakk guy loses his home system/all planets, and just has a lone carrier left in a random system they don't control. Out of the game on 8/10 VP, ouch.
Edit: He lost his HS because the Yin guy sent his suicide flagship in and blew up everything in the system, then the Saar woman swooped in to take control.

The Sardakk guy is the only person left with their Support for the Throne, so could at least still play kingmaker. This is getting tense (in a 'this has taken ten hours' kind of way).

Hacan has fulfilled the PDS secret objective, but the Yin guy is telling him that he doesn't fulfil it till the status phase, which is wrong
Edit: Aaand he's been corrected!

All Hacan needs to do now is win a battle with his flagship, and they've won. They've been last/second-last the entire game, so well played them!

The Yin guy is super disappointed, he thought he had this after eliminating the Sardakk, but forgot about Imperial's score immediately ability.

The Saar person could also have got to 10 at the end of the round, she would have fulfilled a secret objective and a 2VP PO. Close close game!

Are you taking into account the 2 PDS shots protecting tar'mann from d'rek as we have an agreed mutual defence pact?
I can no longer move to mallice due to owning tatts sftt.
So not particularly eager to move for 1tg...

Are you offering to not take tar'mann if I move my cruiser?

Yes the PDS fire is a non-issue. If the 1 trade good isn't enough what do you propose would be a fair trade?
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.
