I don't understand her move to be honest, in the grand scheme of things this should surely only push her back. She could have scored a public objective and had my SFTT which gave her some security against me, and be on 3 VP's. That's the name of the game, but instead she's sitting on 1 VP like me. Is there a longer plan that will get her VP's more easily? The game is only to 12 VP's and IH and Gnaw are already on 3. I am not complaining, I could have done an orbital drop before moving my ships out of the way, that would have prevented my homeworld being taken, but to be honest I didn't think she'd want to do it, I saw no long term value and assumed she'd want a friendly neighbour. Don't get me wrong, I was planning on future battles and taking of systems but they were not her systems. I was not going to be completely passive. I have a good corner in which I can defend pretty well. From the very start the reason I picked the position was to play a certain way. Honestly I had myself on 5/6 VP's by round 4.

Really? You're her neighbour. In one cheap move she blocked you from building, she got a 4 res planet, she blocked you from getting points, she forced you to abandon your expansion to return back to your homeworld, and on and on it goes. You've given D'rek every advantage, by giving her a free run of your homeworld, and for not taking Bereg Lirta for that matter, when you easily could have and easily could have held it.

A plan is only valuable if its flexible. Had I been D'rek I would have done the exact same thing.

Yeah I'd probably have done the same thing. Your move to bereg is even more baffling now. You didn't score a secret objective, so why you made that move and made yourself quite so vulnerable I have no idea. Drek has all the advantages now, which for the jol nar vs the sol early game is ridiculous.
