Oh well. Being as close to each other as we are, I hope that in the process of setting borders between us, we can also come to an agreement that safeguards my meager trade goods from pilfering. I am dependent on the few I am capable of gaining, and so every loss will be strongly felt.

I'm already seeing some cool Nekro combos here. I wonder what the last two races will be.
That was one of my favourite parts of the Nekro. Shopping for the msot fun reacial techs. That and the flood of tokens.

Remember that the Necro get 3 tokens any time they would get technology. So, if you for instance were to select the technology card, you can get 3 tokens, and an additional 3 for 6 resources. In addition to the tokens you can get from using influence when someone plays Leadership. You'll quickly be able to do all the actions you want, while the rest of us struggle to just get the essentials done.

Sol means sun,
Our solar system, (where we come from)
Needed the sun to survive,
It turned Supernova,
We all thought it over
and we're glad we came out alive.

Humh..
Unlike the other factions, yours - The Nekro Virus - cannot research technologies themselves. Instead they can absorb technology from other races every time you destroy one or more units in battle. This means that sometimes it's tempting to attack someone not for the strategic benefits of the system they're in, but to gain access to a particularly tempting piece of tech.
At the start of each round, every factions picks a strategy card that they need to play at one time or another during the round. One of those cards is Technology. The player whom plays the technology strategy card gets to chose one technology from the tech tree, and if they so chose they can pay six resources to gain an additional tech. Now, the Nekro cannot gain technology in this way, as stated. But that doesn't mean that the tech card is without value for the Nekro. Whenever the Nekro would research a technology they get 3 command tokens instead. So, if the Nekro pick the technology card, they gain 3 command tokens when they play that card, and another 3 if they chose to pay 6 resources.
Command tokens are what you use for basically all of your actions. You use them to move ships, to take advantage of secondaries on the different strategy cards and so on. A game of TI4 is all about prioritizing when and how to use your very limited pool of command tokens. The Nekro can practically swim in command tokens though, and as such become much more flexible than pretty much all other races.

Hacan for me.
In ages bygone we roved as a pride
Over the desert sand we chased
prey strong and great
yet all fell in the fight
we walked the sands tall and upright
mines we dug and we delved
to the skies we raised ourselves
a new addition to our majesty and might
From star to star we roam
exchanging riches where ever we land
Known across the vast unknown
We scout, we fight, we make our stand
until all our adversaries are gone
their planets reduced to life-giving sand
