						Baaaarnsley. Phonetic spelling.
On that note, why isn't 'phonetic' spelled 'fonettik'?

I have loved London every time i have visited.
Now, to be fair, I'm always just visiting.

Exactly. I also love it to visit but that's it. Haven't been for a while but it's always a good day or two when I do go.

My wife lived in London for a couple of years while we had a long distance relationship. The place nearly broke her. It is nice to visit, but a nightmare to live in. Everything is expensive, far away, and grumpy.

Better not go to Sydney then - that place is an unmitigated shithole full of arseholes. A mixed metaphor which seems appropriate when you think about it.
A pretty harbour and bridge doesn't make up for it. I can tolerate the place barely for a weekend but any longer and I go stir crazy and the arsehole vibe of the place starts to make me even crankier than I usually am.
I don't say that lightly.

I remain convinced that London is the worst city in this country. I can't stand the place.
Worst is a bit harsh. I can think of some worse places. Both to live and to visit. I mean: Blackpool and its ilk?

Manchester is far and away above London.
Incidentally my mate from Mancs said he was amazed I am alive as we went to D&D at a pole club in city centre, then went to Satan's Hollow, then I walked back to the Hotel which was in the curry mile and I had to pretty much walk through city centre then down past Academy and onward to get there.
Is he right? Should I have been stabbed?

Well I think you should be stabbed but that's unrelated to location...
Manchester is freaking awesome. My above comment was more directed to the places I work like Blackburn and Burnley.
