Why doesn't her dad watch the little one so you two can see it together?

Her mom has health issues that means someone has to be able to focus on her...her dad has bad knees and such and can't focus on a 4month old and his wife...but I can cause I'm younger and stronger. So I see it alone, and she sees it with her dad is the best solution for all so her mother is looked after in case she falls or needs some other help.

ahh gotcha. That makes sense.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

10 pm on Thursday and then I think Saturday evening as well.

Get pumped!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Exciting. Planning to see this with my wife next Friday. (We both have work off, but the kids still have school! Day date!)
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Booked for Saturday. I've been trying (with moderate success) to avoid finding out too much about it. Me and Mrs Tiste are excited: her especially so because she finishes work for the Christmas break on the Friday so she will be relaxed!

Only two hours to go..
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Not really for the kids, this one.

As a Star Wars fan, I enjoyed it for what it is - an interesting extra look at events we knew had taken place but had all happened off screen. A great ride through a previously blank chapter. And going into it knowing how ANH starts, you shouldn't be too surprised or spoiled to know that it has a somewhat darker tone than the 'main' series.

I'll spoiler the rest though! (Although I won't spoiler the fact that quite a few scenes from the trailer do not appear in the film - to the point that I was expecting something to happen and it didn't, as I guess it was part of those reshot scenes.)
Spoiler

I'll be going back for another look after Christmas.

Seen it twice already. CGI is less blatant in non-3D version, although it didn't overly distract me in 3D form.

Had high expectations. I'm pleased with the result.

Trying to compare TFA with this is strange, as they are just different movies. Both did what they set out to do, and the ending scene was fucking spectacular.
