Suspiciously leaves Kaschan as the deciding vote. If Alkend has been recruited then he went through a lot to lay his vote away from Hanas.

If Alkend is a recruiter then Iparth could be his as he followed Alkend's vote.

I do find myself agreeing to people saying about two finders.

Alkend not playing as recruiter, imo. He also claimed debutante and no one countered.

IE is playing oblivious. Not sure if recruiter-like.

For years Quick Draw McGraw has been trying to find the leader of the Esoteric Order of Dagon and wouldn't you know, Obed Marsh was now trying to recruit him. Years of frustration boil over, and Quick Draw McGraw pulls that grenade he's been keeping in his back pocket out. He pulls the pin, and Obed Marsh's eyes widen. The leader of the Order tries to run away, but Quick Draw McGraw is too fast. He jumps onto Marsh and both go up in a blaze of glory!

Hanas has been killed. He was Obed Marsh, the leader of the Esoteric Order of Dagon, and Sir Thursday.
Serc has been killed. He was Quick Draw McGraw, a member of town, and JPK.

It is Day 4. 35 hours and 59 minutes remaining

6 Players still alive: Alkend, Iparth Erule, Kaschan, Mockra, Okaros, Trake

4 votes to lynch, 3 votes to go to night.

Players not voted: Alkend, Iparth Erule, Kaschan, Mockra, Okaros, Trake

Damnit Ment! I was sure you were lying! You can't even tell the truth without coming off sounding like a slimey weasel!

Nicely done JPK!!

I'll have to think about the remaining players and reread again.

Edit almost should have been slimey.

Serc to the rescue! That was good play. Very dodgy lynch of Gamelon at the end of day there.

Nice work JPK, well played.

I probably won't be around much till later in the day, just checking in as I missed yesterday. This means Kaschan can be ruled out as recruiter, correct? Based on Gamelon's results.

Right now I have Kaschan as not recruiter. Alkend and Iparth as recruited due to the vote swing away from Hanas.

That leaves me with Mockra and Trake so going to read up on those two.

The other thing I've been thinking about that involves the Hanas recruiter info, is which leader is he? Operating from a WCS situation, I no longer believe that just lynching any old recruiter will solve the issue for town.

The WCS score right now should amount to 4town/2Dagon/3Beast.

If we lynch Dagon's recruiter we shut them down, but Beast recruits either one of us or the Dagon follower placing us at either 3Town/1Dagon/4Beast or 4Town/4Beast. Neither of those are scenarios that are likely for us as town or Dagon Cult to come out on top.

I hate to propose it, but I think Town and Dagon need to work together to ferret out the Beast Recruiter today or that's game.

If you work with us here, that'll strand Beast with 2 members and lets you recruit a third to your cause which gives us possibility of 3town/3Dagon/2Beast, OR 4town/3dagon/1beast which are numbers that are much more favorable and puts the outcome of the game back into the air instead of essentially securing it for Beast Cult.

So what do you say Obed? Do you want to give your Cult a chance at taking home the prize or do you want to keep hiding and let the Beast cult beat us both to submission?

Interesting. What if Gamelon was recruited night one, then recruited elsewhere night 2? That would put Kaschan as his current recruiter maybe, and Hanas as his old one? Or just that Hanas was his old recruiter and he hasn't given us his new one. Just giving us wifom with the Kaschan name.

You can see by the CF again that I have not been recruited.

No no no no.

We cannot rule out the possibility of Kaschan being a recruiter because this scenario still fits.

Veronica Day/Gamelon is recruited night one by Hanas.

Night two Kaschan recruits Gamelon.

Gamelon reveals finder and we lynch Hanas/recruiter/he is killed.

Gamelon's reveal looks legit.

We PI Kaschan.

Now it depends if the recruits are instantaneous, or if you can just take a recruit that has already been recruited without having a night phase to prepare or whatever happens.

No, Kaschan is 100% town. Just did a proper read up on CF's and Gamelon was member of town not a recruit. So he is legit.

Interesting. We botched the lynch, but fantastic play by JPK (a testament to his suicidal tendencies :cat: ) keeps us alive. Well, somewhat alive because the numbers look dire.

We have 6 players alive. The game hasn't ended, so this means Brotherhood of the Beast does not have majority yet. We had 3 Nights, ergo they either failed one recruitment or Hanas poached a player from them on N2. Technically both are possible at the same time, but I wouldn't be pushing our luck with this assumption.

So, we likely have 3 Brotherhood players in game, against 2 town and 1 Order of Dagon recruit, or 3 town if Hanas failed to recruit on N2. In any case, we don't have the numbers to lynch Nyarlatothep, ergo we're pretty screwed. We have to hope Nyarlatothep's recruits are not aware of each other and lynch one of them.

Okaros has not been recruited because we're still receiving CFs. That leaves me with 4 potential candidates. I'm leaning towards Kaschan, because they seem like a very unlikely leader - and therefore a very likely recruit.

What has happened so far.

Day one. No Lynch.

Night one. Fanderay Killed. Town PI.

Dagon recruits Bek.

Beast recruits subject A.

Day two. Bek lynched. Dagon recruit.

Night two. No Kill.

Dagon recruits subject B.

Beast Recruits subject C.

Day 3. Gamelon lynched. Town.

Night 3.

Dagon recruiter killed.
Serc town Killed.

Beast recruits subject D.

So potentially

Beast has subject A, C and D

Dagon has subject B left alive.

Which would only leave two town. Kaschan and Myself. Which is not right because there is four to lynch. So we can assume that WCS beast has one recruit because if he had two they would be 3 versus 3 right now and impossible for town to win.

Please let me know if I am on the right track here.

Kaschan is at worst a recruit because Gamelon CF'd town which means his information is legit.

@Okaros: read the PS first post. Cult VC is majority, not parity. And recruitproof is one of available roles, so it's technically possible for town to win even after reaching parity.

And I know Kaschan is at worst a recruit - that's literally what I said in the post you quoted. But if it's parity - and it likely is - we don't have the numbers to lynch the leader.

Where are you getting that Kaschan is 100% town thing from?
