I'm just curious to know if they used helmet cam again in season 1 (I believe they used in first episode then moth balled it). Did they? And are they going to use it in season 2? If so, then I'm back in, 100%.

Finished Ep 6.
That was atrocious tv. It’s bad when I can still say lines(or along its lines) before it’s said in a show I hadn’t watched in months and predict what’s going to happen. And I’m not sure what’s up with Landry’s voice. He sounds like he is on the very brink of tears with a cold.
Bad bad bad

Tom Cullen's voice is like that, it's what he sounded like on Downton Abbey too.
Well, hope you read the summary and enjoy at least episode 1 of S2. I think you'll find the improvement in all aspects including the writing.

As long as it doesn't follow that horrendous series of books by Jack Whyte (I think we spoke about them before. Very disappointing...) cos that would be an extremely boring show!
The only good book about the Templars and the Crusades is Foucault's Pendelum by Umberto Eco.

I would agree, but would also argue that Robyn Young's BRETHREN series is also worth eyeball time.
