England women into the Euro finals. They look very strong, and put a hurtin' on my ancestral land. From highlights I caught, Sweden goalie and defense were crap though. Like there were some serious crap goals in that 4 to 0 result.

First one player accidentally strikes the ball on its own post, the rebound coming off a team mate narrowly deflected by the goalkeeper, before a third defender in a last ditch attempt to save it off the line shoots it against his own leg for a goal. Priceless.

The goal that is getting all the buzz is the bicycle by Messi. It was alright. I wasn't flabbergasted by it or anything. With his smaller frame and just being familiar with his quickness and play, it wasn't as immaculate as the media was pumping it up to be.

What's more important is that the rumours the Glaser's are open to selling minority stakes in the club appear to have some meat to them... It's by no means the endgame but there's certainly a little bit of hope perhaps?
