Fine IMO, he brought silverware like he always does.
The players surely bear the responsibility when you see their turn around after the switch.

And subsequent slide back into shortness confirms that they are the problem at old Trafford.

Man U 2-1 over Man City.

Rashford is playing at a level noticeably above most others on the pitch. Watching him, you can see a level of skill that eclipses everyone else. Do you think this season is the one where he is elevated to be in discussion with the professional elites, across all Euro pro leagues?

Not yet.

But finally starting to live up to his potential for sure.

No blue moon over Manchester last night! :D

Only thing that could have made it better would have been the bin dippers losing!

And yes, that Son goal was insane!

Didn't see the Son goal, but searched and found YouTube vid. Damn, that was right out of a FIFA Soccer video game. He straight up scorched Burnley. That little misdirect flick ahead running full steam was drawn from a skill set not many possess.

One could even say he burned Burnley <<<< see what I did there? Posted Image

No real easy draws for the English teams in CL

And with some of the teams coming out of CL into Europa I don't think we'll be seeing a repeat of the all English European finals of last season

Crap, Depay long term injured. Goodbye Euros 2000. Oh well, hopefully we will still be decent in 2022.

Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

That header by Ronaldo though. Love him or hate him (most hate him), watching that header in slow motion will bring wonderment to your eyes.

I will never deny Ronaldos ability and athleticism, he just irritates me with his smugness. one hell of a jump that said, like a bloody jack rabbit.

We sign Minamino this week, for only 7.25M, in todays markets that's crazy good business, even if he flops (which I doubt) shirt sales alone in Japan will probably take the brunt of the fee.

I saw him against us in the CL, and picked him out as Salzburgs creative driving force, so happy the transfer team saw that too and swooped on him at that steal of a price.

Did I read that right? It's been over 365 days now since Liverpool lost a match in the PL?! When was the last time that happened (or has it happened before?)? Also, they're going to capture enough points to win the league earlier then any team ever has, yeah? When can that theoretically happen? Like, are we going to have a a solid two months of league play just to determine which teams left can make it into the top four sweet spot?

I think it's technically possible to win it at Goodison.
But we'll drop points somewhere.

Arsenal have a longer run of 49 games unbeaten. Chelsea possibly have 40?

Yeah, it happens. It's not very common in the UK, but in a lot of smaller European leagues it is not unusual to have a champion declared in early March and then the remaining two months of play are just there to see who bags the remaining European tournament spots. Liverpool are doing spectacular, but it helps that their nearest competitors keep dropping points as well.

Look to Scotland to see a league that has been won early a shed load of times.

Agreed other teams are dropping points, but not to the extent of Leicester's year. At the end of the day, no one in any of the top 5 European leagues has won 20 out of 21 before

I think, don't quote me on that stat

I suspect early nineties AC Milan may have managed that. But nothing in recent years, I don't think. Bayern perhaps?

That's impressive as hell by Liverpool though. Especially when considering the modernity and progression of the PL as a whole and the difficulty it is to not only stay competitive, but to perform at that level consistently.

[EDIT] My Wolves gonna stop this streak 23-Jan though. Posted Image

Google tells me it's the best opening 21 games of a season of any of the big 5.
Not best return over a 21 game period though specifically, so not sure if there's been a 21 game win streak in there somewhere
