Now it is going quick. 2-0 USA, Dutch giving too much space away at the back. Poor defending too.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Well, at least it didn't turn into a run-over. Deserved victory by the USA, never really was in doubt of course. Still, shame it had to be a very soft penalty that opened up the game. I wonder how much longer the Netherlands could have held out if that had not happened. Still, you don't win games if you don't create chances yourself.
Considering this was only the second ever world cup for the Dutch women, second place is a bloody amazing result. There is a future there.

Ok you worthless turds. We haven't talked football since my US ladies lined up all you pretender nations and bitched slapped you down the line, one by one, to win the World Cup.
So, lets talk upcoming season in the Premier League. We are under three weeks now until match day 1. So, any you turds happy with the moves your club made during the off season? Do you have the temerity to proclaim your guys will sit atop the table by season's end? Let the shit talking build, bizznatches!
I'm still a Spurs supporter first and foremost. But I like Wolves and hope they can continue to move in a positive direction on the table.

Would like to see Wolves continue their progression. Anything that continues to disrupt the so called 'big 6'
Obviously, Pool for the league is the dream, City won't have gotten any worse though, so......
The Ox is back, thats like a new signing, but I think we still need a proper flair midfielder to have as another option to unlock stubborn defences.

These days I'm all about the Euro qualifiers. Portugal took a few early stumbles with a couple of draws, and that gives Ukraine a really good fighting chance, as long as we can avoid dropping points against Lithuania and Serbia.
The team has been surpassing my very tempered expectations so far, so maybe we'll even score a goal if we make it to Euros this time.

Naby Keita could be just that. 14 assists in 2 seasons in the Bundesliga (2016/17 and 17/18), plus 16 goals, all from a center midfield position.

Yeah, hoping to see him kick on as well.
When he was given the chance to bomb through the middle I saw a bit of Stevie G in him. But not what I mean by flair, I mean a little tricky bugger, Garcia type

I'll take beating Chavski 4-0 in the first game of the season, thank you very much.

Aw man, I miss Sarri as the manager of Chelsea. I can't stand Chelsea, so I don't care to see them do well, but damn, the shit-show that was last season under the helm of Sarri was fun to watch. Lampard seem to be too buttoned-up for my tastes.
I guess maybe I'm softening a little for them though, because they brought in Christian Pulisic this season and I would like to see him have some success in the PL.

Holy shit! My Spurs got raked by Bayern in group play yesterday. I haven't checked any breaking news off the wires, but I'm guessing some 'changes' are probably coming soon.

Wow, horrible call on that PK there, but my boys still held the lead for the last 20 minutes despite being a man down.
UKRAINE IS GOING TO THE EUROS (and this time we might actually score a goal there), fuck yeah.

England win 6-0 and the game is nearly cancelled due to racist behaviour by fans. Sheesh.

There's a huge problem with racism in the professional soccer leagues in Europe. Sky Sports News airs here in the U.S. and there's almost daily reports of a racist incident at the games.
Also, have you noticed at these Euro qualifiers that numerous stadiums are completely empty? Gee, I wonder why?

Fucking hell, our US Men's National Team sucks. Losing to Canada is another low point. I propose our Women's National Team take over and play the rest of the men's schedule, and show the men how champions win. I'm sure our women could be the Canadian men's team. And yes, I'm being serious.
At least the stadium was full of cheering fans and there were no ape chants and grunts directed at black players.

Considering Dallas 15s beat the US women's team, no they wouldn't.
I am not belittling woman's football but the gulf in quality and fitness is still a chasm, they couldn't compete in the third tier of professional men's football.
