Hell of a game!! My sitting heartbeat throughout was around 120 going up to 160 when Antony scored!
Sunday will be fun, especially for me... United fan living and working in the Toon.

Hah oh goodness if Newcastlen lose I feel sorry for the innocent businesses on the high street cos some of those fans are nutters and wouldn't hesitate to start some light riots due to the loss.
Actually come to think of it, they'd probably do the same to celebrate a win...

Aw, but with those accents, how can you stay mad at them.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

TRB is a rampaging Geordie, or at least she supports the Toon. Can definitely see her trashing the place if they lose today.

Nah, she's more likely to "Cry "Havoc!" And let slip the birds of war!"
Cue scratches and guano everywhere. Like crossing a Hitchcock film with the Farrelly Brothers.

She's actually there at Wembley the lucky sod. I don't *think* she has a bird of prey on her, but I wouldn't put it past her...

Lucky sod checking in - sadly, sans birds!
It was incredible to be there, and be part of the flag display in the Newcastle end. I think there's a lot to be proud of for the Toon, but ultimately we are overachieving and we were outclassed in the end.
On the plus side, I got to see however many England internationals in the flesh and enjoy a wonderful atmosphere. A season ago, nobody could have imagined Newcastle in a cup final.
At the risk of disloyalty.... Marcus Rashford on form is absolutely something else. The second goal was a beauty.

None at all thankfully! And it was nice reading reports of how spotless Trafalgar Square as left by the Geordie contingent this morning.

Balls. Of all the games to suddenly start channeling the spirit of the past few years why did it have to be this freaking one? On a weekend when Citeh and Arse both won as well... Ugh.

I'm torn. I feel a bit gutted for Ten Hag, but I'm also very pleased for Gakpo and Van Dijk. Considering that we need the two of them in good shape for our upcoming international matches, I'm leaning towards a 'yay Liverpool' here. But at the same time I was quite pleased to see a Dutch coach perform well in England and that will have received a bit of a knock now, knowing the rabid English football press.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.
