I found one earlier with a metal planet. It had one weird creature so I got the bonus for 100% scan without a load of searching!

The cargo slots definitely still hold more of certain items. Good for storing stacks of uranium and other fuel sources.
Have you tried the jump boost yet? It's great for covering long distances on foot.
Press R3 to run. Then tap R1 to do the melee attack; straight away hit the jetpack, and keep your finger on it. Instead of going up vertically, you do a sort of horizontal boost for as long as your pack lasts. Getting S Class jetpack modules at the Space Station and installing them gives you more airtime.
Also, you might know this already too but when you install tech into anything, you get a bonus if its placed next to a corresponding module. So you can install a mining upgrade anywhere, but if you stick it next to the mining laser they both get a coloured line round them, and you get a bonus. If you then add an S class upgrade, if you stick that next to the first ones the coloured line will surround all 3. It works for all tech in suit, multitool and ship.
I only played a bit last night; ended up mostly decorating the top floor of my house.

Do you just join a random and then fly to the station?
I've got that system we visited on my portal list now.

Ah not tried that! I've been really useless so far at making progress towards the centre or doing big jumps. I've seen a few slightly off putting tales about the nexus travel being buggy and people losing freighters and such so being cautious at the moment.
I'm really waiting for the latest patch to get the glyphs sorted, it's just got to get okayed by Sony, then I'll be all over the place to pick up cool ships.

Shiit that's a big update.. 3 hours, that's me out for tonight then.
I'm actually really tired but I thought I'd stick it on and put in a new landing pad at my home island, but I guess I'll go read instead.

Todays console update is bringing consoles up to par with the PC updates fixing a ton of stuff, like freighter hyperdrive mod prices and landing pad snapping and a bunch of stuff.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne: It's like hunting monsters, but on crack, but the monsters are also on crack.

Ha I wonder if they found the free suit upgrades and fixed it? I'm maxed out now anyway.
I hope there aren't too many new bugs with the fixes.
Bk they fixed an issue 'where valuables like ancient bones would show up as an invalid item when transferred to another player. ' That explains that then.

Oh, nice, seriously?
I've been system hopping using portals. Found one more glyph, 3 to go.
Ypu dont need all the glyphs anyway, I've been putting random ones in and travelling to different parts of the galaxy.
