Lots of good stuff people already posted. Glengarry's Alec Baldwin monologoue is something we've been watching at the office a million times. Interview montage in Shallow Grave is fantastic, so is the graveyard shootout in Seven Psychopaths. Haven't seen Oldboy but checked the hallway fight scene and it's clear how it influenced directors and choreographers. Now it seems like every fight scene in Daredevil is inspired by it. I also love the little shot from Matrix with Trinity's dodge this line. Super powerful and a great angle. My all-time favorite action scene is probably from Matrix Reloaded, the complete highway chase sequence. Car chase majesty:

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=WfrHk6xdJMw
I love the first two Matrix movies for how unapologetic they're about their pretentiousness. The costumes, the fight choreography, the philosophizing, overusing slow-mo, Keeanu Reeves: on its own every aspect borders on the edge of ridiculous and put together they somehow make for incredible movies. It's interesting because Wachowskis managed to recreate that with V, then not really with Cloud Atlas, and then they failed miserably with that Jupiter Ascending bullshit.
Though when it comes to action in general scenes, Nolan is the top. The Inception scene with the zero gravity fight is probably his best. Love how it manages the growing tension and switching between two planes of dream:

Someone also mentioned the burger conversation and watch scene from Pulp Fiction. If I were to pick a favorite from PF, that would be the Brett sequence. Samuel L. Jackson is perfect here. Tarantino's writing is gold and SLJ still squeezes 200% of it. He even slurps Sprite like a goddamn boss. I can't count how many times I've seen Pulp Fiction and I've watched that scene probably 2-3x that. Gold. Truth be told, we could probably post tens of scenes from Tarantino here. I personally have a soft spot for music video-like sequences and one of the best ever is also delivered by Tarantino. Oren Ishii's entrance in Kill Bill. Don't really like KB but this is a perfect synchro between video and music:

Another example, though not QT this time, is the church scene from Kingsman. Choreography is so neatly combined with camera work:

The Daft Punk scene from Tron is also eye/ear candy:

The Leftovers... so, so many awesome scenes, here is part of one of my favourites though it does cut off when getting to the best part.
The music to this show is just stunning.
(This is the thing with TV show scenes, please beware spoilers as some big moments.)
And I just find this scene captivating...

All the clips from Doctor Who reminds me of this scene, from an episode about Vincent van Gogh. It makes me misty eyed every time I watch it:
EDIT: Ah, who am I kidding, just re-watched it and I am sobbing like a child.

That episode was so good, one of the best since Doctor Who was rebooted, hands down.

What the hell is "Doctor Who"?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Oh are we going with sad DOCTOR WHO moments?
This one does me completely in, every single time...spoilers for series 7.
Like I'm a puddle on the ground...and don't get me started on Eleven regeneration...that one's worse for the feels.

LOL yeah that is the scene that always pops up first in my mind when thinking of that movie.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Also it makes me think of how Bravo used to actually be a good network (that's where I originally saw it).
Also it is basically the Internet.

I don't remember much about Bravo. Whenever I click past it now, it's "The Real Housewives of" <insert location here>
But yeah, Slacker hits that quirky, odd dialog type movie that can't really be placed anywhere. I like that it's raw Richard Linklater. The girl trying to sell Madonna's pap smear is another memorable scene.
KEEP AUSTIN WIERD!

QT bumping the Blacklist thread reminded me of this awesome scene in that show, Raymond explaining why they're going to get out of the situation they're in:
If we're talking Doctor Who, I think my favourite scene from 11, who is my favourite Doctor, is the ending of A Good Man Goes to War, from the moment River shows up. I can't find all of it, but here's most (warning, this is a pretty big reveal if you do plan watching the series). The acting from everyone, and the way the mood and tension swing back and forth, are fantastic:

Both fantastic scenes!
In fact, I didn't like A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR when I initially watched it...but now it's one of my fave eps, I love it.

The terminator show was not the best television ever, but had one brilliant scene. The terminator gets into a confrontation with a bunch of cops at a hotel. All sound cuts out except Johnny cash's "the man comes around" and instead of actually showing all these cops directly getting killed, it show shots of bully's casings and maybe bodies (it's been awhile) and things hitting the ground and falling in the pool. Super effective and well done scene.
Edit: just watched it again. It was bodies falling in the pool, no casings on the ground. Search "Sarah Conner chronicles man comes around" on YouTube. It's worth 4 minutes of your time.

Man Seeking Woman returned last week (season 3). The first episode was kinda weak, but this show has been some of the funniest television I have seen. Season 1 was hilarious. Season 2 was right up there. I hope season 3 doesn't disappoint. Anyway, here is a clip of one of the funniest scenes.
Josh attends a party and meets his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.

Is Eric Andre a regular cast member?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
