Ok, this seems to be the beginning of it. Notice Bubba mentions me almost casually, then comes back hours later to drop the vote because I am "to deliberate". No example or explanation cited. If I were a suspicious type, I'd think this felt like a setup.

So at this point I feel like Nom's play has been the most dodgy. His reasoning for his vote on Ando because he wanted to throw a vote down and didn't think it mattered since there were so many other players just doesn't sit right. Now it looks like he will vote for just about anyone else to not be lynched, but he doesn't provide a solid reason for his votes.

Nom is close to being lynched and no one seems to try defending him. Later on maybe it could be written off as laying low, but at risk of losing one person on D1, wouldn't scum intervene?

The only thing that could be considered diverting attention from Nom would be the HO bandwagon, but that seems like too much of a longshot, so my thinking is Nom = townie. Wish I had time for a deep dive in the HO and Nom arguments, but won't happen before end of D1 so there's that.

The problem with not lynching is that we end up reliving day 1 asking why there was resistance. YOU should know this.

I have the browser open in the background, will change in the interests of getting a lynch, if that's the go, but to be honest Nom hasn't been overly on my radar, he's noticable, and a few ropey posts, but as I've said already, I'd prefer a lynch on tatts/HO, hell probably Andorion, then Nom, he'd be a fourth choice for me. The problem is, well our collective play, if its a no lynch today, we all know how tomorrow will likely pan out, so in the interest of avoiding that, I will change vote cometh the hour

I agree with you on that analysis, though the same behaviour could be laid on HO as well. I'd be interested to see what both have to say in this regard, if Nom turns up inno. HO has promised us a response.

I'm not sure, however, why people are expecting more of a defence of Nom. I wouldn't expect it any more than perhaps we've already seen with some conversations about an HO lynch instead. Do you guys really expect anything more overt than that? Or are you saying you expected more of a defence from Nom himself?

So what are we supposed to do? Half the train professes he must be scum, the other half just wants a lynch - with a couple people (like yourself) that think he's innocent, but want to lynch him anyway.

What is the right approach? Can you give someone a pass in this scenario, or do we just send them on to oblivion?
