Okay, so I pointed out the Andorion listing of town roles and said "EEEENTERESTING!" for a deliberate purpose. Not because I actually thought there was something in it - it's a silly thing to do and I think Andorion's probably played enough to be careful enough not to post something like that as scum - thoug I reserve the right to be wrong!

But rather I did it to see if anyone would jump on. And there go Tatts, Nom, JPK, and...someone else...HO! As I said, I don't thing it makes Ando particulalry scummy seeming in my view, so I was interested by these reactions, and the reversals by some when it seemed the Ando votes might not gain as much traction as it looked like they could.

Of those, I don't particularly agree that Tatts is playing quite differently to normal as some have mentioned. Yes, he's prone to switch wildly, and has he not just done that by fairly inexplicably switching from Ando to Blend? So far that doesn't make him scum, that just makes him Tatts

On the other hand, HO has been more active than normal (yes, really) and that piques my interest. JPK reads like he's coasting, though also may be a newbie testing the waters - have they played before. Nom jumping on straight after Tatts was very eyebrow raising to me, as if trying to show they're active and contributing participants, almost over eager. Also notable as is the recent backing down and reversing from that position ('oh gee, I may have made a mistake').

I'm going to go there for now.

Andorion v Tatts looks like the point of contention for Day 1 and admittedly the core of my own reasoning from the previous post, so I went back and looked and how it unfolded (this timeline is limited to the Androion-Tattersail situation):

• Andorion starts speculating about mechanics
• Tatts joins the speculation
• In the next post Macros throws accusation at Andorion because of that speculation
• Khell joins and points fingers at Andorion
• Tattersail votes Andorion
• Nom votes Andorion
• Dhenrabi votes Tatts
• Macros votes Tatts
• HiddenOne comes back to Macros' post that started the whole debate and votes Andorion
• JPK votes Andorion
• Gust votes Tatts
• Dhenrabi removes vote against Tatts
• Tatts removes vote against Andorion and votes Blend
• JPK removes vote against Andorion

What looked fishy to me is how Macros only focused on Andorion speculating mechanics and how Tatts pivoted from talking mechanics himself to lynching Andorion. But then he actually backtracked and voted Tatts, so it makes sense. And for the record, Tatts did offer an excuse for his speculation:

This sounds like a shaky logic to me, but I don't want to jump to a conclusion based on only this with so little Mafia experience I have.

Initially I was most suspicious of team vote Andorion but after a re-read (more like re-skim to be fair) I think that would expose them too much. Throwing accusations at Tatts is more defensible and an opportunity to stir things up at the same time, with fueling the tension. Dhenrabi retracted his vote for Tatts and Macros actually backtracked to this conclusion after going after Andorion, so that leaves me with Gust. This is a looong shot and I might be reading way too much into things, but here it goes:

First off, HO: I am torn. His posts seemed pretty standard to me. He is in the open, so he is being more vocal (not surprising) but true to form he is not really posting much regardless. Second: People need to take a look at Lady Bliss. Alarm bells were going off there, and while I don't have time this morning (on the crapper and then heading off to exercise before a resident meeting at 7 am) to do a deep dive, I have been keeping an eye on her and don't like what I see. Again, more of a day 2 problem, but a reminder none the less.

Third: Nom, definitely playing a background, lurking game. Not really helping much and just as much defensive as going for the "meh, whatever" vibe. There is a good train on him, and to get a day 1 lynch it is Tatts, Ando, or Nom. Tatts is still bugging me, albeit less so now that he has branched out and started harassing more people (though the newbies need some more going over, seriously). The thing that is helpful about Tatts is he provides a lot of material to look over and he does slip up from time to time. Ando is in the same boat as far as I am concerned.

I'll keep trying to read up on my phone, being spotty and all. Hell, I might do the elliptical, and then participate more at the gym, we'll see.
