Well, I imagine Disney does not want a competitor channel to broadcast 'their' universe content. Netflix has joined up with Mark Millar, so I assume they will start creating their own brand of superhero universe or somesuch. And to be fair, most of the Netflix Marvel stuff wasn't that great (or well received) anyway.
