People can look down on dynastic victory all they want, but when it boils down to it a win is a win. And I think you can still have a strong presence on thread and still obtain it. You just have to be way more careful. Seems to me it would be alot like playing a scum killer role. Participate just be really careful about what you say and do.

Machiavellian. Actually the progress of this game is closely matching the historical era I suspect it's based on. 15th 16th century Northern Italy, with all the city states, the Pope, and both France and Australia trying to get in

I had planned an entire series of games, that would have been a mix of anything that may or may not have happened between the Ottonian Imperial era, Guelph and Ghibelline politics, French interventions and maybe layer on Spanish incursions as well, with a more "Restoration of the Roman Empire" sauce poured over it for good measure. If the right circumstances were/are reached, it could have culminated in a war with the "Ottomans" (from the Tales of the Desert series) as well, with Vengy getting to be the Dreadfather again.

Sounds to me like someone might be trying for a Dynastic victory.

Ah yes, the little-known Australian invasion of 15th-century Italy. A devastating time for all, gladly forgotten by most. I hear there's still small colonies of the descendants dotted around Italy, usually centered close to their Walkabout bar temples.

The indigenous Australians of the 15th century were surprisingly accomplished seafarers. Also very good at covert operations it seems, as until today I never heard of them being involved in wars in central Europe before!

Yeah that would have been an awesome thing to say on thread when it was announced that someone is already spamming nobles. And so here we go again. Lets pile on the first person that says something contrary to thread majority. Or at least the ones that are speaking on thread.

The clock for day 3 is on, btw, for 12 minutes already.
47 hours, 38 minutes. Let's do more than a page of posts this time around.

Well, that's been a wrap for the past 30 minutes. Day has ended.
I will do some resolution in the next 5 hours, but I might not have the time to do all of it.
Expect the Excels tomorrow morning, CET time.
