I was getting ready for some major unit building this cycle. I had made my heir, I had built a war council, and a university.

Through mis-reading my cycle 2 xls and mis-understanding of the resolution order, I was essentially defenseless. Any nobles I created I was going to give to Bubba in anticipation of my impending demise.
To be fair I never did find out from Tapper if that was possible.

Order Resolution Sequence
During Night, actions are processed in the following order.
1. All treaties that end at the start of this cycle are finished and all treaties that start at the start of this cycle are initiated.
2. All units are moved.
3. All role-specific actions are resolved.
4. All standard actions as found in this post are resolved.
5. All recruitment happens, including Mercenary units.
6. All combats are resolved, starting at A1, proceeding to A10, B1 to B10, and so on.
7. All buildings finish construction.
8. All Courtiers and Family Members that are not Commanders are moved and/or placed.
9. All income is collected.
10. All Spies send their information to their players.

It's all guesswork since I don't have the last spreadsheet and not knowing how many stewards Bubba was going to assign during that night, but I think it would have looked like this:
resources 28/14/20
During day figure out how many resources I would need. Pass all the excess to Bubba.
Talk 2CK into any sort of treaty with the internal purpose being that he leave Bubba alone.
sequence 1: treaty made
sequence 2: Move my single unit from G2 to G1
sequence 3/4: Create 3 nobles immediately passing control of them to Bubba. Also permanently increasing the influence resource of F1 and F2 by something or other. The courtiers created at the time of the nobles re-assigned as stewards on those estates.
sequence 5: Bubba recruits X units using those nobles as commanders.
sequence 6: I lose estate G2 in combat.
sequence 9: I still gain a nice income even with the loss of the G2. Especially if I got control of G1.
Poaching Andorion from me really threw me for a loop. I spent the rest of the game a cycle behind mentally.
But I think Bubba could have pulled a Dynasty victory out of his ass that next night.

Nobles would have stuck around, they're 'faction' controlled until an opponent takes the estate, then they're destroyed.
I was puzzled by your question, mostly, since it was rather fatalistic and you had a decent amount of manpower to actually build a good army, especially if it was lead by a Noble.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Yeah, I had a division on its way up to your Estates, Gnaw - I had found them the night before the game was called, and had orders set to clear one of the unaligned garrisons in my way, thus clearing a nice little path over to you, which I would have started sending troops through fairly quickly to pillage your lands!

Yeah, this is definitely the 'one' that hurts the most when it comes to dying in mafia, whether it be that last night you need to survive in order to guarantee a win, or a NK the night before that stops you from revealing all the killers as you'd just found the last off them.
I invested much time into trying to figure this game out, and just had too many hand written notes that were horribly organized.
Firstly, I allowed my weary brain to make the mistake that caused our alt reshuffle. As Faction Leader, you control two alts right away. Your faction character, and your second alt used for negotiating alliances and bidding on mercenary units. The second alt could talk in a private thread with each one of the other 3 secondary alts. As such, that is 3 PM threads to keep track of, as well as two more PM threads if you chose to speak to both other faction men.
I mistakenly used my hand written notes to send a couple opening messages to one of my faction guys and one of the secondary alts of the other faction leaders instead of the correct alt, which would have been my other faction guy.
I of course felt like a complete moron, but more so I felt as shitty as possible for adding more work to what was already one of the most complex games we've had, and especially for adding more work to Tapper's already considerably full plate of things to do.
All the while, I'm redoing my task of alerting our faction members as to who makes up our team and copy/ pasting each characters thread conversations between them and me to each other, trying to keep all of us on the same page while trying to settup my beginning instructions. All to most all of this I had done and we were working out which spies each of us would send where, as not to overlap. I felt Tatts and Unfound had both chosen great settups and I had just warned them about the fact that the leader of the Des Fleurs knew my home base began on tile A5. The alt shuffle took care of most of my screwup, but the Des Fleurs still know where one of our bases were, giving extra insight as to where our factions other bases might be located.
So yeah, this was the interworkings of my mind when I read that I'd been MKed. It was indeed a huge let down, but we've had ModKills for as long as I've played mafia, so I understand them 100%. It was just another stupid mistake on my part. Part of the Faction Leaders job was to be able to multitask and coordinate his team.

I didn't bail. Tapper even made a post saying that I was participating. I was building estates and units. I talked to Tatts and Unfound and organized as best we could for it being cycle 1. I even transferred my post from SH over here, up above, as it seems like it got lost in scroll.
I even confused my player alt with Trake and talked to you as well. Remember? I added you to my PM with Tatts which caused the alt shuffle.
All you really saw was my starting location and the names of mine and Tatts alts. And when I suggested we form a temporary alliance and share mutual information to set us even, so that Tapper wouldn't have had to worry about an alt shuffle right in the middle of everyone still pretty much in question mode, you shrugged it off, saying how an alliance woulld only end with you betraying me at the end and then out thinking me with your super genius.
Seriously, I lol'ed at that. So in fact, I was looking very forward to playing.
As for the 'never been lynched' shit, I could care less. Ask Venge from when we were paired killer partners in.....whatever game it was where Venge and I and Sir Thursday was our symp that we won. I told him in PMs all the time how little I care about being lynched. It's just funny because some of ya'll take me so seriously. The same thing I'm doing when I'm bragging about my amazing mafia skills, and there's always a few who takes it seriously.
Get with the picture man. It's just ongoing jokes and me screwing around. You're the one still taking it seriously.

Perhaps you occupy a blind spot in his sense of humor. Sometime I have that problem, and other times I am the one who gets misunderstood. Some people don't get into ego jokes, either. I mean, just because I am awesome in general, is no reason for me to belabor the point. It's a very serious issue.
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch.
