Started a full MCU re-watch on D+ the other day, and I'm thorough IRON MAN 1 (still excellent; though Terrence Howard SUCKS as Rhodey), and I'm now halfway through IRON MAN 2 (Don Cheadle fucking RULES as Rhodey)...and it's funny I'm enjoying it all even more now that I'm watching it all these years later.

Anyways, I'm going to keep going in order through all of them up to Endgame and I'm HOPING to get done before BLACK WIDOW comes out in May.

I think the only one I'll skip is THE INCREDIBLE HULK....not just because it's not on D+ but because I recall it being...meh before Ruffalo took the role.

I rather liked that one. Leaving aside how much better it is than the 2003 mess, it had a good pace, Norton was believable in the roll, as a fugitive Banner who is maybe more MacGyver than scientist (tho agreed Ruffalo is better) ,and the action was fun. Not brilliant, but a worthy inclusion with the rest of the films.

Part of it for me is the Toronto-set...they didn't try to hide it even a little. It's like Oh, there's Sam the Record Man.

Hey that's all that's left of Sam, cut him some slack. :)

I've seen enough trailer to know I'm gonna watch it. Not going to watch any thing else if I can avoid it

I'd be curious to know what you didn't like about ENDGAME, and then SPIDER-MAN: FFH.

I loved both, so I'm just wondering what didn't work for you.

Not getting into much Endgame as I plan to rewatch it in the coming future but Time Heist just shut me down on that 1st watch.

Spidey just took the whole teenage shit and cranked it up to 11 and sprinkled Chevyís European Vacation on top. I just was kinda hard for me to go back to fucking high school Spidey after all these movies with him being thrown in with the big boys. Does that make sense?

Then we have Mysterio who I was never really a big fan of in my bigger comic days. Jake did a good job with a boring character but the way it was all handled left me vexed at times. Idk he was just always one of the lamer villains imo so maybe I was biased before even starting? Probably so.

It had an outstanding end credits skit though that really had me excited. Very much looking forward to seeing what that was all about. GoG 3 or CM 2??

Sidebar: I THINK CAP 2 reinforces the fact that Skrull Fury (Talos) is the Fury we see from CAP 2 till ENDGAME...and the one from the post credits of Spidey: FFH is the one from CAP 2 (the real one) who "died" in that film at the hands of the Winter Soldier (and showed up later saying he faked his own death)...my guess is that real Fury was taken aboard the Skrull ship to heal/regen...and Talos-Fury managed earth for the interim (CAP 2 through ENDGAME & FFH), and going forward we will have Real Fury back.

Also noticed during my MCU Re-Watch:

Stephen Strange is name checked in CAP 2: THE WINTER SOLDIER by a Shield/Hydra agent.

This is 5 films, and 3 years before Strange shows up in the MCU.

The long arc planning of these never ceases to amaze me.

Watching Capt 1. I didnít care enough about this at the time. Years later with all that has gone on minus the disaster of Endgame this movie is killing it right now!

Saw a headline about rumors placing Alison Brie as She Hulk in the new series on Disney +. I think that would be really rad. But she's tied to Netflix (via that wresting show), so something would have to be worked out there, right?

I think we've touched on it, there's not much out there, barring the clips from the trailer...but Anthony Mackie HAS stated that Falcon WILL become Captain America/take that mantle on during the show (which makes sense since we see him training with the shield in the trailer, and because his character held that mantle for a long while until Steve came back in the comics.)

It's gonna be dope!

I'm most interested in that, LOKI second (I love the concept of the Loki show...the AVENGERS 1-era Loki who stole the tesseract during the ENDGAME time travel stuff and stepped through a portal is the one the show will follow (since the main timeline one sacrificed himself at the beginning of IW), and WANDAVISION third...but I have no idea what WANDAVISION will be since Vision is dead in the main continuity...is it that Wanda is making up a "life" with him that doesn't exist? Also, the fact that Randall Park (Agent Woo from ANT-MAN), and Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis from THOR 1, & 2), AND Monica Rambeau (CAP MARVEL) will all feature in the show has me really intrigued.
