Sadly, I no longer live in the big city with easy access to like 6 huge bookstores to see if it drops early in Canada like I used to....I have to wait till I'm out in the bigger city nearby the town I live in that has a bookstore...so the chances I'll get it early while still high, are not as high as they were before.
But make no mistake, if it drops early, and I get it...I'm gloating!

While technically I'm fairly sure all Mark Lawrence books are linked if not directly in the same universe, the Red Queen's War trilogy is actually in that world and happening more or less concurrently to the events in the Horns trilogy.

That trilogy is great with Snorri and Jalan, well written. I love when Jalan and Jorg meet, and all the scenes with them both in.

Picked up my copy yesterday but no promises to actually read it for awhile since I'm still working my way through The Library Trilogy.
I think Daughter of Crows has to be my favorite of your covers though, Mark. Hopefully some people break the old rule and pick it up just for the cover.

I agree, it's gorgeous, and I think the ONLY ONLY one that I think gives it a slight run for its money design-wise is the US cover for HOLY SISTER...there's just something so evocative about adult badass Nona standing there defiantly holding the shipheart...it's dope.

I need people to understand that when I checked out the sample for the audiobook for DAUGHTER OF CROWS....the narrator, Olivia Dowd lured me in with her insanely amazing narration and I'm tempted to get this bastard in hardcover AND audiobook. Because now I want to see how she handles the rest of the book. She was a wonderful choice
