Emurlahn is dead. She was Francesca, Principessa de Laureana Calento, a proud Noblesse noble.

A princess in title only, whose holdings certainly do not warrant a title as lofty as principessa, not to mention that she was only a sixteen year old courtier at the court of the Twice Crowned King, who inherited the title and some lands in the lower part of the Noblesse peninsula. Laureana Calento is famous for its perfumes and soaps, which makes a very pretty penny. Unfortunately, one batch of perfume was poisoned, and her neighbours didn't wait long before they tried and snatch up Laureana Calento.

Karosis is dead.

He was Eleuterio I, Granducato di Gambolò, a proud Noblesse noble.

Eleuterio I, Granducato di Gambolò, did not have a good year. Despite expanding his armies, despite investing countless loads of money and political acumen, he was still not where he wanted to be: in power. When the news of the Des Fleurs and Eisen Reich invasions came, Eleuterio envisioned himself first as the one who would defeat them, then as a mediator, and he even considered the role of viceroy to whichever of the two foreign powers would win. He was dumb enough to correspond about his dreams, too.

And so it came to be that Eleuterio I was heading out to join the armies attacking Zimella, riding at the head of a column of his infantry, to find his way barred by The Twice Crowned King, Ottavio II of the House Magnarsson. While Eleuterio had numbers on his side, Ottavio had the better soldiers, the element of surprise and his reputation of a fierce warrior and ruthless tactician.

The outcome could be only one, and when all was done, Eleuterio II, a six year old boy, proclaimed himself a ward of the Twice Crowned King. Most of the nobles on the northern part of the grand duchy declared their independence, but even so, Ottavio II was a whole lot more powerful in one stroke.

If the cult was still recruiting the game would be over by now. Sure there may be a member left but for all intensive purposes the cult as a cult is fucking dead. They are simply another faction hanging around trying to survive. It really surprises me you didnt say anything about the CF on Karosis. Why gloss over that BH?

Honestly? Lack of concentration, during a work break. I only looked at "a proud Noblesse noble." and did not check if the name itself would come back positive. Seems like I overlooked that, thanks for pointing that out.

By the way, as I mentioned earlier, I think there's a difference between a cult remaining without recruiting powers and the cult being wiped out and dead. If cult members remain, one of the things to watch for in the thread are changes in behavior, such as sudden distancing attempts with weak cases and such, and behavior during cult lynches. If you're a remaining cult member, you would do well to feed the idea of "no cult remaining", to steer people away from looking at cult-related actions.

Welcome to the game. It was a PS screw up. I confirmed with PS. Im still a noble just now I carry Karosis' old title. We got swapped cause apparently Tapper is on deaths door and copy and paste is not his friend at the moment

Only, for all we know, there could be more than one 'scum', and those scum could be against each other, if they were recruited into different factions at some point, if that's even possible. Sigh.

I guess the thing to look out for is differences/changes in behaviour/posting, which means a lot of reading up of the thread. I honestly have no concrete idea at the moment.

I don't know what to infer from that. So if that was YOUR title, Hentos, that would mean you were indeed an independent. But now you have Karosis' role...which means that if Karosis had been recruited, then you are now as you would have that title?

BUT if Karosis had been recruited, then why would he have died?

So Karosis/now Hentos was/is either a different faction recruit to the killer, OR the same faction but the killer didn't know it, OR they were always/still are an independent noble.

I'll have to ask PS to confirm that, because that would basically confirm 100% that you are an independent noble if that's what PS says.

I'm minded to believe you, because I believed Karosis yesterday when he said he was an indy, even though what you say above is really only us having to take your word for it. But like I said, I believed Karosis, so it would make sense to believe you now if you are sorta kinda what they were.

Plus, it's by far the simplest resolution. Others - thoughts?

Well like I said earlier we have Iparth who we had connected with Fand early on. Though it does strike me as strange how BH has kind of taken over the questioning on thread. I will have to go back and look at that a bit more closely
