My attack strategy, though I only tend to do well with this on bases with only 1 mortar, is to have 5+ giants start attacking the wall nearest the mortar to draw its fire, then send wallbreakers in to destroy the wall. The giants can usually go and finish off the mortar at that point. The majority of the rest of my troops are usually archers, and I usually spread those out in a big circle around the whole base. That and I have 10 goblins that I'll send through whatever breech I can make nearest the resources. The only other real pain in the arse defenses are the Wizard towers. If those are vulnerable (i.e. I can place characters near them) I often try to take them out first by placing archers one at a time in a semi-circle around it until they've destroyed it, so it can't do splash damage and kill more than one archer at a time. The same strategy would work with mortars, but people generally keep their mortars behind walls.

I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that self-vote suiciding will forever be referred to as "pulling a JPK" now, aren't I? ~ JPK
