Sorry Blend. I moved it higher because I kept having a bunch of low guys join and leave and join and leave. Taking up spots. What trophy level should I move it down too? I have one spot right now and we have started war. I suspect that there will be at least 8 spots opening up on friday as there are at least that many guys who haven't donated and won't attack. Pathos if you guys can wait until then we will have room.

Yeah each attack that you win will give you trophies and loot. It doesn't take long to build up several hundred trophies. You also need to build a clan castle in order join a clan.

So I'm out of newbie protection... and there is tons of people around that have like no defense and huge amount of resources. I'm assuming they are some sort of farm accounts?

I feel like I've got to upgrade my storage and build NOTHING ELSE because I've got so much lewt, and it is so easy to get more.

We are currently in a war against a clan that has won 33 wars. We have won 23, and our last 10 in a row.

The clan we are facing are mostly Asian, and their bases are all countered to the way we attack. Archers, Hogs and Healing spells. Their clan castles are situated dead center, and they have expanded their bases so that it is very hard to draw the cc troops out, they have filled them with 3 wizards and the rest archers, so the wizards always come out last, and you have to sacrifice many troops just to get them out. It's going to be a close one this war.

My TH is 8. So these are bases I will attack.

Now as you can see on these two the Clan Castle is well situated. It also has good defenses on the outer border so it will require 3 or 4 hogs to get the full castle out, if there are archers and wizards in there.

Judging by my newbie experiences, that first one doesn't look bad if you have bombers. Hit from the right and you should be able to destroy those two towers pretty easily, and then more bombers to break through into the middle?

I wish you could direct stuff to attack a specific place when you dropped it...

To draw out Clan Castle I used two hogs to attack archer tower on the far left. I got attention of hero down bottom. Then I used 50 archers in the top left corner to dispatch all of those. I also opened my CC releasing a dragon, and wizard. I also released my hero up there.

Then I dispatched 30 hogs in the top right left corner and used a healing spell on the wizard tower so that they keep their health.

I made a mistake though, see the area just below the TH? That held 3 Teslas and a giant bomb or two. I should have saved one of my healing spells for that area, but because I didn't I only got 90% of the base, as my hogs left 2 cannons alive, and I ran out of time.

The idea of clan wars, is to 100% the base. In my experience this is very tough to do and I find my tactics Work most of the time. I will show you if I could record my attack, however I will talk you through my attack of the base above.

I know what I did wrong, if I had put the healing spell in that area towards the end I would have gotten 100%.

I didn't even realize you could pay another 'attack' fee and not attack the one it brought up. Rather keep paying that and finding someone who has good resources for what have to expend.

otoh, almost at 400 trophies, so... yay me? Got lots on defense too when people 'revenge' me and get slaughtered.

edit: hahaha my defense finally got broken. Guy sent 14 giants. only 4 survived and they timed out before they could get more than one star. Bahahahah.

I got more from him in resources then he got from me, and same with trophies. And he gave me a 12 hour shield so I can upgrade my defenses.

hmmm is it a good idea to only upgrade defensive buildings during shield times? That's my plan anyway.

edit2: does doing a 'revenge' attack remove your shield?

That is a good plan. use the shield wisely, I try and get one before I hit the sack, so I am not worrying about my base ha ha

Yes a shield attack will remove your shield. The only thing that you can attack when you have a shield is the goblins.

I mean if people want level 1 archers I can donate them, but everyones like 'gimme good troops'...
