Unfortunately he's said nothing that gives me certainty that it was him. The Silent One claimed they had dropped guard. But that had already been said on thread.

He told me that that was all the info he was going to give me, take it or leave it. So I declined to give up my day one coded message. And registered Inert so that if he was the SK, then he wouldn't get the CF info. If he wasn't the SK, he could very easily prove to me that he was the one who possessed me by putting in thread the first 2 posts in my Role PM. (Full disclosure: I also registered it just to fuck with him.)

So far Karatallid has declined to reply to me at all. I asked point blank if he possessed me last night. If he didn't, he can say 'no' with zero repercussions. If he can't say 'no', then he was the possessor. Therefore he should be able to post those first 2 PMs.

Kara's play annoys me further: If he has possession and is innocent, he can come close to proving it, if only to me. Saying, "I've got reason to believe that Korbas is inno and I won't vote for him" is well and good. But it proves nothing.

I don't think I'm asking too much here. The possessor would have looked at my role PM. My first comment back to PS should, imo, have stuck with the possessor. I'm not asking for a verbatim quote. Just paraphrase it.

I've pointed out that assuming the SK has possession is just that; an assumption. I can think of a couple of reasons why they wouldn't want it. Although the highest probability says they do have it just to keep it from being used on them. *shrug*

Well, the dysphonia (posting in pictures) applied to the possessor as well as long as they were posting in my alt. The sole reason I have to doubt it was Kara IS the fact that he also didin't post much of anything. One of his posts made sure to point out that there was somebody who wasn't contributing. To do that and then disappear would be stupid. So his claim of technical difficulties logging in could be true.

While I feel a vote on me is warranted with regard to the amount of time I have been able to put into the game so far, which, let's be honest, isn't much at all, I do feel it's a cheap way out. If Okaros had cryokinesis, he could not have picked up SCM. Therefore Korv was telling the truth about being frozen. But given his own statement about "why would a townie take shapeshifter", why would have taken shapeshifter?

I keep coming around to it's either scummy Karatallid taking the SCM or townie Okaros doing so.

With outside chance of it being Pran Chole.

However, since AntiTank cannot be used tonight, I'm going to put Kara at l-1. If he's town he should have came clean with me. If he's not, good. Either way fuck him.

As you can see from the above - I was able to relinquish Cryokinesis today. This means that Ryllandaras definitely picked up Pyrokinesis, otherwise he would still be frozen and I would not have been able to Relinquish. Because I had Cryokinesis, I would have been unable to pick up the SK contract because I wouldn't have been able to Relinquish due to Korvalain being frozen, then Ryllandaras being frozen.

The reason I believed Korvalain's story is because he admitted to being frozen, and I had definitely targetted him with Cryo the night before he said he was frozen, and with the other parts of his story being potentially true, I figured he was telling the truth.

So...was he innocent? I still don't understand why we didn't get a damn CF for him.

He picked up the Shapeshifter contract, which means that he chooses what information is released on finds, CFs, etc. He said not to release anything. I'm thinking as a last fuck you to town.

I would vote you for that all by itself. But Kara seems just as scummy. If he can PROVE that he didn't have site access at X to Y time period, and that period covers any of the 3 times the Silent One posted in the PM, it would give me reason to believe he wasn't lying.

However, there is another way:

@Kara, you have claimed that you had the guard two nights ago. My possessor made the same claim. Therefore, if you were my possessor, you know what my Day 1 registration order was. And you should be able to remember my response to PS on it.

I can't say them, but my possessor can. Tell us those two things.

I think requiring someone to prove that they did not have access to the site is a bit excessive. I'm pretty sure that lying about RL circumstances - including to PS - is not on, under these circumstances.
