Tier 2 Battles first;

Delta Hydra

Delta Hydra had reached the pinnacle of scientific advancement. The planet was a beautiful sea of blue in a dark universe.

But beauty attracted the beast. The dirty descendants of Draco riding their new Paperwhite ship, the Dreadnought. The white ship was packed to the rafters with a new weapon the Hydrans had only just heard about. The fabled plasma missile. What was so imposing about the Draconian dread was the giant 50ft statue of their new ship captain, Pippy.

The Hydrans had little time to prepare for this crazy intruder. They had just finished building their new Starbase that was equipped with a new type of defensive weaponry. The phase shield. They wanted to study science, not fight. They wanted to be peaceful but now they are facing the extinction of Delta Hydra. Now they must defend at all cost against a foe that is ruthless and unkind. Their fate rests on their one ship.

The Hydrans not fully understanding that the missilies can never hit on a 1 didn't realise that they would probably have had more look with an extra improved hull because the Dracon dread has plus 6 computers. Only realising this now, the dread fires 6 plasma missiles.

The first misses but the next 5 hit making a messy ruin of the Hydran Starbase. 2 phase shields may have not been enough. The Hydrans put up a good fight.

"Blob". Pippy was happy. His one ship has taken a world in which he desired. Many would ask why he did what he did next. Many would speculate it was because he feared an uprising. Many others would say it was because he didn't want to feed millions of people. The truth was much simpler. Pippy loved massacre. He wanted to hear the peaceful Hydrans scream. He wanted them to die. As he gave the command for nuclear destruction, and as the Neutron bombs descended there was only one sound. The sound of Pippy laughing.

Hearing about Delta Hydra the Twins turned and looked at each other. They knew what came next. The utter rage they felt inside came bubbling out to the surface. Morg-Barry Jnr started shouting at the draconians,

"you got no fans" referring to the whole galaxy.

"you got no ground" referring to his plans to invade Dracon Territory.

"you want some? I'll give it to ya" he screams

The whole scene was captured by his twin Morg-Barrel on camera.

After this tirade the Twins known as Barry the Barrel sent their cruisers into the heart of the Dracon Territory...

Interlude
The Vord Queen was destroyed in a distant game but one lived and that Queen was on Canim. She invented a way to spread, scared Tattersail still thinks of where she fled to. She was still out there and that terrified him. She sent a new species to a distant galaxy and they found their new home in Sigma Draconus. They named themselves the descendants of Draco because that is the form they shape themselves in.

** Two Terran Cruisers have been spotted entering Dracon Space.**

The response was immediate, two cruisers dispatched to intercept the Terran invaders. They joined with the Dracon interceptor that had spotted the Terran ships.

The Interceptor on seeing his big brothers appear shoots his load early. The two plasma missiles sail harmlessly wide of their mark.

Then they fire their Plasma cannons upon the two cruisers..

The Mechanema felt nothing. For machines did not have to feel. Machines calculate with 0's and 1's. With the newly acquired Neutron Bombs what was the chances of invading the Procyon Sector? 100%

It was a no brainer for the heartless machines.

"10010100011011" was that glee or laughter or just a noise coming from the computer on the desk?

Whatever it was millions died and machines cannot cry.

Not that I'm arguing with the ideal outcome of that battle, but should those rounds vs. the ancients have been missile rounds?
i.e. do missiles get recharged for the second combat after the first of multiple enemies is defeated?
I'm sure we've dealt with this in the past, and it doesn't change the outcome in the rolls at all...just wondering for future reference. I can't seem to pin it down in the rules.

CF I am not 100%, I assumed they did but instead of waiting for an answer I wanted rolled half missiles/all cannons because if you got the hits it wouldn't matter. The question needs to be answered though. I assumed yes because it is a new opponent instead of engagement.
