Rules for this game go off game three loosely. It's not the same, I'm a new mod, mistakes may happen. I need you to help me, help you.

Game is run through Vassal. I will be able to post anyone's board and map updates regularly by just copy and pasting.

Although I will strive for perfection there may be some errors along the way, if you could kindly point them out to me that would be great.

If you have any questions on game play then please ask.

Rolls for combat will be done through Vassal. I will screenshot the rolls so that it is transparent.

When do I draw reputation? Is it straight after a battle or during cleanup? Same with Discovery, do I do the discovery straight away or during upkeep when they influence?

No harm at all in starting a new game if the other is paused indefinitely.

6P should move fairly quickly, and if Gnaw turns up we can just pause it and return to finish Game IV, right?

You can play Vassal Online, live. I can go into the lobby and create a game and then everyone could log in and join the game at the same time. Only not everyone can use Vassal.

This game could be over quite quickly, but yes, once Gnaw comes back we can pause and finish that game.

I'm interested in trying different tactics with Terrans, and I'm last pick, so it doesn't matter which race my terran pick disallows. Just assign whichever suits your fancy.

I'd rather you picked the Terrans on the back of the Mechanema. I hate playing against them. Their damn cheap ships and 3 upgrades makes them a very dangerous opponent.

It's probably moot if we get more players anyway.

Mechanema starting position seems to be pretty important. If you get shit explores (like I did in Game III), they're not a heck of a lot of good - but then again - I guess that goes for any of the races.

Plus all those ships don't do you much good cause you can only move 2x per turn.

EDIT - actually, I can see interceptor bays being a massive deal for Mechanema. Tonnes of interceptors and a couple of dreads would make them seriously dangerous AND mobile.

I was going to give it a shot with terrans too, they seem a bit more balanced and less dependent on certain factors.

Yeah being able to convert 2 resources to any other makes them very flexible. Plus the three move ability and the extra reputation slot are nice bonuses.

I'm interested in playing, but I can probably only check in once every 24/36 hours for the first two weeks (from Feb 23 onward I would be much more active). If that's problematic, or if 2 other people want to play, I don't mind sitting out.
