hooo....still laughing at this. Fucking sooooo stupid.

And this on the heels of me completely imploding in Game IV after a math error FFS!!!

You guys might want to leave me out of the next one...don't want to take the place of somebody with actual brains and ability to think strategically.

Hmmm...well....for those watching closely, any suggestions on what I should do here? I haven't been looking closely becaue I thought combat with Twelve wasn't an option. Can I still out-init his stuff?

EDIT

On a quick look, it seems like he can pretty easily up the source and computer on his starbase to get 8 init - I don't know if I can beat that.

Hey Twelve - want to forget about petty feuds (since we have diplo) and make a move on TatterBlend? If you can tie him up next to the GC I can research WH generator and invade on the other front.

CF, you can put two drives and two computers and a missile on your cruisers for 9 initiative and hit on a 2, or 3 drives, 1 computer and a missiles and hit on a 4 with 11 initiative.

Twelve can build starbases with a maximum of 10 initiative, but if he goes above 8 initiative he leaves himself vulnerable to morgoth.

You'd also be able to move pretty much anywhere in the galaxy in one move with wormhole generators :)

We are build 2 starbases in the hex above your cruisers. The hex joining yours by half a wormhole.

The internet in work has been sporadic all week. On and off. 5 minutes here and there, it is a nightmare.

missiles and an extra tach drive on the cruiser blueprint

- put the tach drive over the lower left hull slot please...it would be silly to have an engine sticking out the side of the vessel.
