Yes please.
However, I was thinking 1 dread built there (flipping a colony ship to go from 7 to 8 mats) instead of star bases. More HP, better computers and a big gun.
I ran a couple quick simulations and looks like beating CF at initiatve outweighs the extra hull and potential damage output. Giving yourself two interceptors performed better than another dread.
Yeah. I'll just have to look at influence actions to free up discs, it seems
Well, we'll see. I think for now you should build the 2 interceptors, and we'll see if CF and Morgoth move anything else at us. CF doesn't have very many more actions he can do. Morgoth can do a ton of reactions, but Gnaw and you are both close to passing. If Morgoth moves a cruiser into the GC I can pass early to end the round so he can't move another. Or something like that.
Yeah, fighters seem the best option, but I'll need to build 3 to have a chance of over 50%.
Should look closer at starbases next game....an anti-matter/+2 comp/+1-comp/1 hull/6 power design would have been a near guaranteed win - unless Morghy moves in.
* = requires quite some actions.
Your money is at 2 +15 -10 right now, right? So two more actions puts you at 2 +15 -17. So, you could afford to build 3 more interceptors without having to de-influence anything. And you could do it as Build-Pass-Reaction if you wanted.
I wasn't even thinking of you building 3 interceptors, just 2, and that plus two dreads from me in your homeworld can get up to 85% in our favour, even if CF upgrades his hulls into improved hulls. If you build 3 interceptors, that is even better odds, or I can put a dread in the GC instead to ward off anything by Morgy.
Well, I can only build 2 at a time
