Question: For the simple one vs one battles where no one is retreating I would like to do the multiple rolls in one throw then apply the results until somebody blows up.
Example:

Roller
gnaw
Character
Test
Campaign
gIV Malazan Empire Eclipse test

1#2d6x5: 1 # 0 [2d6x5=1, 3]

1#1d6x4: 1 # 0 [1d6x4=1]

Engagement
1#1d6x4: 1 # 2 [1d6x4=6]
1#2d6x5: 1 # 1 [2d6x5=2, 5]
IH hits for one point of damage. Ancient hits for one point. IH 4/5, Anc 1/2
Engagement
1#1d6x4: 1 # 0 [1d6x4=1]
1#2d6x5: 1 # 1 [2d6x5=5, 3]
Ancient hits for one point. IH 3/5, Anc 1/2
Engagement
1#1d6x4: 1 # 1 [1d6x4=5]
1#2d6x5: 1 # 0 [2d6x5=4, 3]
IH hits for one point of damage. Ancient destroyed.
This particular example worked out to the correct number of rolls.

Results
1#2d6x2: 1 # 2 [2d6x2=4, 3]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=3]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=1]
Tatts hits twice, 2 points damage to khell. 5/5 and 1/3
1#2d6x2: 1 # 3 [2d6x2=6, 2]
Tatts hits, Khell goes boom.
1#1d6x5: 1 # 1 [1d6x5=5]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=2]
1#2d6x2: 1 # 2 [2d6x2=4, 2]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=4]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 2 [1d6x5=6]
1#2d6x2: 1 # 2 [2d6x2=5, 4]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=3]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=4]
1#2d6x2: 1 # 2 [2d6x2=1, 6]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=2]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=2]
1#2d6x2: 1 # 3 [2d6x2=6, 3]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 0 [1d6x5=2]
1#1d6x5: 1 # 1 [1d6x5=5]
Since I can do the multiple rolls with simple cut and pastes, the battles are much easier and faster to do. Unless anyone is going to make silly "but doing that I might waste 6s" arguments, that's the way I'll do battles 2, 3, 7, 8, 10, 11, and
14. (I'll roll missiles separately where involved.)
Not 14 unless Tapper says "no retreats".
