I agree. I wanted to get advanced labs this turn, I cannot even do that by converting the materials. I fucked myself over by researching fusion drive. If I hadn't done that I would have had enough science this turn to get adv labs.

Now I am unsure, I will grab a tech of some sort, influence, explore and upgrade.
