And there I didn't click the spoilers like a good school boy (mostly because I didn't notice it and the subsequent discussion). +8 money, nice. I am a happy ape.
Even so, I guess not publishing the tile is the better way to go. If it had been ancient tech, I might have discarded the tile. About 20% chance, but hey.

Do not be sorry for finally posting your action
D'rek - Provisionals:
I assume D'rek is going to research the Improved Hull and that makes me explore. If D'rek does not research it then I will.
Quote
D'rek - Provisionals:
- If Khell
- researches the Improved Hull OR
- explores North, then Northwest
- Explore the Tier 2 hex south of me
- If Khell
- explores Southwest, then Northwest
- Explore the Tier 3 hex southeast of me
- if Khell does anything else, then: Research Improved Hull
I assume D'rek is going to research the Improved Hull and that makes me explore. If D'rek does not research it then I will.

This is Captain Ryan, star date 23102013, we can see something in the distance. The on board computer says that it could be a new planet but it blinks out and we will not know until we get closer. We have sent the image off to the Galactic Council to see whether they have a record of the system. The lady in administration said that they will let me know at the soonest opportunity but word through the grapevine is that they are looking at some sort of fungal growth first. We are forever patient and hope that they sort this infestation out at the earliest opportunity lest it spreads.

My Lord,
The Man-Machines have opted for improving the survivability of their fleets. With their increased capacity to accurately target and survive assaults we are in a dangerous situation should we leave ourselves open to their fleets. They are very logical and therefore can be assumed to attack once they implement these technologies into their war craft. We must make it a long and difficult task to navigate to our base of strength.
Explore SE of Eta Geminorum (3$, 2S, 4M)

Note: I made one minor error and one meh error.
Minor was I should have rolled twice the first time. Easily fixed.
The meh is I rolled 1d11, but there are only 10 hexes available. Since the result is not the 11 that no longer exists, my inclination is to keep the result of 9. However, I am certain that I'll make the same mistake again sometime.
So, considering that this sets precedence for the future of this game do you prefer a mistake like this to be always re-rolled or only re-rolled if the result is a 'null' hit?
