Preemptive in. It's been a very long time since I've been mind raped by a Tapper game.

So this is what you've been doing instead of bringing out the new ToD game!

I guess it will have to do

In.

It started as a little mental excersize about integrating a way for players to select their own abilities in mafia.
It ended with 28 roles, currently 7 upgraded roles, a weird ruleset, poker, dice, revealing mechanics, and a weird west setting.

@ Messremb:

I have a tiny bit of a reputation for odd games. The mechanic is, was and will be recognizable as mafia though.

Does this game require an advanced degree in any subjects, such as economics? Is it going to require an investment of time roughly equivalent to a day job?

I had to set out Tapster's last couple of epic mind shags, so

I'm in
HiddenOne. You son of a bitch. You slimy, skulking, low-posting scumbag. You knew it would come to this. Roundabout, maybe. Tortuous, certainly. But here we are, you and me again. I started the train on you so many many hours ago, and now I'm going to finish it. Die HO. Die. This is for last time, and this is for this game too. This is for all the people who died to your backstabbing, treacherous, "I sure don't know what's going on around here" filthy lying, deceitful ways. You son of a bitch. Whatever happens, this is justice. For me, this is justice. Vote HiddenOne Finally, I am at peace.

I am in, unless a 45 minute lunch period and one hour before bed staring the 2nd week are not enough to understand what the hell is going on. Because starting the 26th, that's all the time I'll have....

It's a Tapper game. You won't understand what's going on no matter how many hours you put into it.

I was reading through the game mechanics (oh God what did I get myself into, I should have known better) and at the moment it is easier to get a Straight Flush than a Flush, is that intentional?

Yes. I started looking at probabilities and dice poker rules and it became such a swamp that had nothing to do with regular poker that I decided I wanted nothing to do with it.
I expect a lot of 4-of-a-kinds and Full Houses, basically.

I haven't looked at the game mechanics yet, so all I can say at this moment in time is: 'da fuk?!'

I have and I'm thinking "Ohhhh shit, what have I let myself in for?"

Also, I've never played poker in my life. Hmm, quick readup needed.

D'rek is going to love you Tapper. She can read this game like a nursery book. The rest of us. Not even close.
