It drives me nuts as a player. As a mod, it seems like an immediate submission to the rule of scum for on full DayNight cycle.
Maybe it's not as dire as all that, but town needs to lynch whenever they can IMO.

Quote
Gen watched the Fujiwari troops from his post on the Western wall. The enemy soldiers seemed intent on completing their entrenchments, but not much else. He turned, the banner attached to the back of his armor whipping in the early Spring wind. “Keep an eye on their forward pickets. I’m going for a piss.”
“But we don’t know how many of them there are. Should we get an accurate count?” replied a bushy eyebrowed spearman.
Gen stopped, turned back and said “We've all been speculating on that for a while now. But the truth is for us we really only need to worry about one thing, we hold this wall. That’s all you need to know. I’m going for a piss.”
And what a lovely, long arching piss it was.
Day 1 is over. No one was lynched.
It is now Night 1. Please submit your actions ASAP.

No lynch but Lishend may well be in big trouble tomorrow.

I posted the no lynch scene - hope that's alright. Haven't disturbed the messages or anything like that.

If Alkend is guarded, does that stop him from moving the messages along, or not as it is a passive (semi-passive?) action?

Bouncing Buddha. I slept 12 hours. Like I was dead. One of those hard sleeps that makes you feel worse rather than better.

I have to check the DVD commentary thread.
I don't think he can be guarded.

If you're still here Khell, double check me.
Replied to Tellan and Mockra with:
"I need a confirmation before I can accept a final version. If I have not received a confirmation that last version posted will be sent.
Message will not be delivered until dawn. "
Posted night timer.
Anything else need done now as opposed to an hour from now?

Don't think so, but I'm not the person to ask. I would just confirm for them on thread how long days and nights are, otherwise they might start reading something into it, the paranoid freaks.
Has everyone sent in confirmed actions?

Heh, now Elodude is on Alkend's case. People have been really nailing the 'too agreeables' lately. Methinks only weird night results might save Alkend's bacon (speaking of bacon, looks like switching him from Fener to Alkend hasn't had much impact
).

Both killers have selected targets from the opposing castle. So no deaths. With both guards on Alkend, I suspect that Lish is toast even though the guards had nothing to do with the lack of NKs.

Are you going to let night run all the way through even if you have all the NAs?

Actually it might have had a negative effect. Lisheo would most likely have played it very differently as Fener. I say that because Lish caught on right away to the implications of the Fener/Alkend swap.

Is there a reason for that? If there's no specific reason to go all the way through night (as there was in the Alera game), isn't it best to keep the game flowing? Just wondering.

Actually, this has some interesting wrinkles. I have no idea how it will play out.

Some of the guard actions can be hinted at in scenes.
Auxiliary General.
Can she be NKed and guarded while in the undisclosed location? If the answer is no, do we tell her? That would impact the decision to take over for a fallen general.
Nothing will be told to her, and any guard actions against her fail (guard does not prevent message pass)
Messages:
Sending a message is a day action and has to be sent before end of day?
Night action, but can be submitted earlier if needed/desired. It is received at the beginning of the next day.
Receiving messages takes place at dawn, so is a NA. Can a successful guard stop the general from getting a message?
No

Traditionally the guard will just be told whether or not he actually guarded the person, so "success" or "unsuccessful". It doesn't matter who it is. If they have the misfortune to block their own leader, so be it. There could be a scene where the Captain recommends strongly against an attack and the General backs down, but no more than that (and that's fairly obvious methinks).
Both guards get a failure message. But no night kills.
